Tens of millions of peaceful, patriotic, law-abiding Americans own guns, favor traditional constitutional interpretations supporting private gun ownership, and do not think it wise to take guns away from gun owners who have always enjoyed the privilege and right to peacefully own guns. Those commonly opposing guns have a history of anti-American, anti-Constitution, leftist, liberal, Marxist, socialist democrat views that have resulted in huge increases in violence, especially in big cities with liberal leadership.

 After a great deal of thought I have decided that I like this thing...I can see this as being something which would hide a few inadequacies your average person would deal with in trying to fend off a home invader. If posted up properly, Sally Housewife or Joe Six-Pack could really increase their effectiveness with this little chunk of plastic.

😐 I'd get one and put it on my M&P if I didn't already have an M1 Carbine handy... :cautious: Yeah, I know; I'm old, okay?

A 1,000% TAX ON SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLES, PISTOLS, AND SHOTGUNS?

Anti-gunners have found another way to crack down on so-called “assault weapons.”
Rep. Don Beyer has introduced a bill in the House (HR 8051) that will impose a 1,000% FEDERAL TAX on a vast number of semi-automatic rifles, pistols, and shotguns – and every magazine holding more than ten rounds.
Beyer claims this tax could be passed with JUST 50 votes in the Senate through reconciliation, with Kamala Harris casting the tie-breaking vote.
At a time when Americans are getting crushed by Biden’s economy, a 1,000% tax on so-called “assault weapons” would essentially be a backdoor ban on commonly-owned firearms and magazines.
Yet Beyer even admits that his tax is not really about raising federal revenue, but “creating a pathway to pass a new restriction on assault weapons with a simple majority in the Senate.”

I swear, it's clowns like this who work for the firearm industry...Do you have any idea how much sales are going to skyrocket when this becomes common knowledge?

I worry that democrats know something we do not know by banning guns in the hands of law-abiding Americans who are opposed to excessive government overspending, skyrocketing inflation, and high taxation while oversupplying the IRS with heavy weaponry and ammunition as tens of thousands of new agents are hired.

Yeah....Have to admit that the thought has crossed my mind that this all may be by design.

I fired one of those once (semiauto version). Dream to shoot. Expensive rounds though.

Never shot with one of those but if I lived in a state that permitted me to own one, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

about.

"This is terrific!" he told next-door neighbor Phil Astrototop. "I wonder which it will be — a raid or an epic showdown with IRS agents."

Phil, a moderate Democrat disapproved of Bishop's oddly gleeful attitude. "Nothing's going to happen, man. It's not like you're breaking the law. Don't do anything wrong and the government won't bother you."

Bishop laughed. "That's what you think! I voted for Trump. I guarantee they're coming for me. You'll see, I'm right!"

Friends and family members of Walter Bishop are concerned that his optimistic anticipation of a pessimistic event may be a mental disorder.

"We're really worried about him," said Bishop's wife. "Also he's kind of scaring me. I don't want to be raided by the FBI! They'll see my unmentionables!"

At publishing time, the home of Phil Astrototop was raided by a team of federal agents working in conjunction with the IRS but, because Astrototop is a known Democrat, Walter Bishop was unable to gloat that he had been "right all along."

I see this in people all the time...Always makes me laugh.

Of course; the fact I'm amused by such things may be a mental disorder as well. 🙄
