A former Mayor of Ferguson was correctly very critical of the Governor and the horrible decisions he made leading to lawlessness.

Who exactly claimed to be surprised by the violence? If anything it seemed the city and officials were all braced for it.

They didn't seem to do a very good job being that they were "all braced for it" did they?

In fact most were reporting no police anywhere around when lootings and fires were happening, they came later.

Well I watched the coverage for a few hours last night and noticed the same thing. It's worth pointing out the police are under no legal obligation whatsoever to prevent crime.

Although if they weren't ready for violence it makes you wonder why they showed up in riot gear...

Maybe they decided they were better off laying low, or it might be them next defending themselves before a grand jury.

I don't consider firing tear gas, smoke bombs, and bean bags while riding in armored vehicles to be exactly "laying low.":chuckle:

I'd sure like to see some of these businesses suing liberal media for stirring the frenzy and irresponsible reporting. I'd love to see the networks lose a few billion for this.

You have a right to free speech but not to play lose, free, and irresponsible with facts. If your reporting contributes to riots, you should be accountable for the damage of those riots you created, especially if you are a major network that not only 'should' but 'did' know better before reporting a biased slant of facts.

You mean like Brian Williams stating that the Grand Jury "failed" to indict? They didn't fail. They unanimously concluded. You should have seen The View a little bit ago. There sat Rosie O'Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg throwing everything they had against the Grand Jury. Talk about incitement! And not a word about the failure of parents to instill law abiding principles in their children.

Why is anna upset that the thug is gesturing to her what he thinks of her?

Why is Nick allowed to post such drivel and implied cursing? And if implied cursing is not permitted, why is the blatant posting of someone performing a profane act permitted?

I really don't think any business in Ferguson should rebuild there. I think the residents need to live with what they do.

So the acts of a criminal few should cost everyone else. I thought that only worked on Wall Street.

Left-wing sports stars and actors (black and white alike) feel the need to weigh in on the incident (like I care what they think).

Chris Rock, LeBron James and Other Celebrities React to Ferguson Decision

Obviously you care what they think. You're posting about it on a discussion board.

And we know what you think:

Just another excuse for the jb's to loot liquor stores.

Still too much of a coward to tell us what "the jb's" stands for?

I agree. I disagree with what they put on the door about "Serve and Protect". Serve yes, protect indirectly by bringing criminals before a judge to be punished.

I really don't care about what a bunch of racists who make millions of dollars in the entertainment industry think zoo.

But I do care what white liberal racists who blog on this internet website think.

The floor is yours zoo: Tell the readers of the thread your thoughts on the matter, i.e. did justice prevail?

Sometimes it's very much directly.
