Maybe now the story will get back on track without Jar Jar Binks, Ewoks, or "musicals" in the hideout of a gangster.

This trailer finally looks like the Star Wars movies we didn't get with the prequels.
There are multiple TV trailers along with the full cut on youtube. And not one of them has Luke Skywalker who is in the movie. They have done a good job of keeping the story under wraps.

To those that are planning to see Spectre--the opening 10 minutes or so is the most spectacular sequence of filming I've ever seen. Most of it is one long continuous single camera tracking shot (or at least it looks like it), with no cuts, most impressive.
It's shot in Mexico City and (apparently) during the Day of the Dead celebration. There's one sweeping panoramic shot where you see the giant public square and streets like spokes on a wheel radiating out and connecting with the square, and each street is jammed with people.

Yeah, that pretty much falls into the category of terrible movies.

I'm a big Bond fan, but that movie was the most "un-Bondish" movie of them all. No theme song, no Q, no Moneypenny, no gadgets, no double entendres, no chase scenes, no signature line, "my name is Bond. James Bond", etc.
I wasn't too happy with 45 minutes of "action" scenes consisting of playing cards, either.
A great spy movie, just didn't have the Bond vibe to it. Craig's Bond was so serious, there was not one light-hearted moment. For serious spy movies I'd rather watch a Bourne movie or Mission Impossible.

The Mockingjay series is done. All in all, not bad. I don't think anyone will be recalling it much outside of rebroadcast in a few years, but not bad.
