All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable...(2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV). It means what it says, as it says it and to whom it says it. It's all written FOR our learning (Romans 15:4 KJV), but it's not ALL written TO us or about us.

Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles (Romans 11:13 KJV, 1 Timothy 2:7 KJV, 2 Timothy 1:11 KJV). We are to follow him in doctrine (1 Corinthians 4:15-16 KJV, 1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV, 2 Timothy 2:2 KJV, 2 Timothy 2:7-8 KJV).

The form of sound words of Romans through Philemon (2 Timothy 1:13 KJV) is written directly TO the church, the Body of Christ (Ephesians 1:23 KJV, Ephesians 5:30 KJV, Colossians 1:24-29 KJV).

As to Peter and Corne being in the Body, they aren't. Peter preached to do something for remission of sins (Acts 2:38-47 KJV) looking forward (as verse 47 tells us) to the blotting out of sins (Acts 3:19-21 KJV). He preached salvation at the end of faith (1 Peter 1:9 KJV) not having now received the atonemenet (Romans 5:11 KJV) not that Christ died for our sins as the good news of salvation to every one that believeth as Paul preached (Romans 1:16 KJV, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV) and NEVER preached the gospel of Christ to Cornelius either! Read Acts 10 for yourself! It's not there either! No trusting the Lord believing Paul's gospel=no entry into the BoC!

The Bible says a lot of different things and they aren't all to the same people of all time! You must 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV, but first, you need to be saved by trusting the Lord's sacrifice in your place as all sufficient to save you (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV) apart from anything you've done, will do or don't do (Romans 6:23 KJV, Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV).


As for the gospel you are so curious about, it's easy. It's the same one the Church has always taught. Jesus is the Messiah, Christ is risen, we can be saved as a result!

WHO Christ is won't save you. The gospel that is the power of God to save you is the gospel of Christ/the WHY of the cross declared in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV).
