Since the beginning of time, there have been human rights violations. There always will be. We, as an idealistic Nation cannot possibly control the rest of the world.

It's an exercise in futility to believe WE can dictate to the rest of the world, what they can and cannot do. We can't FORCE our values on other countries.

We ought not to be the "Police of the World." All out Nuclear war isn't the answer to human rights violations.
Resisting Russian intrusion doesn't mean "all out nuclear war". It might mean not nominating a pro-russia secretary of state at least.

Do you believe in democracy? Do you think we should befriend and ally with nations that are human rights abusers?

What if the CIA investigates and finds proof that the Russians hacked this election:

1) Declare all out WAR?
2) Have a "Do over, election?"
3) Take the Presidency away from Trump and give it to Hillary because of the "Popular vote issue?"
4) Declare Obama the permanent King or Dictator?
5) Just let the Inauguration take place and end this fiasco?

Number 5 would be the best for our Nation.

In one way or another, all Nations, including our own are perpetrators of injustice. We do nearly nothing for the homeless and mentally ill that walk the streets.

President Trump is a businessman, and that's what this country needs. If we can do business with Russia, all the better. Is it better to have Russia as an enemy or an ally? We allied with them in WW2 to bring down Hitler and the Nazis.

Yes. If you believe Kellyanne Conway and don't believe WaPo, you've already drunk too much kool-aid. You're now a tool of the Trump administration. One of his many minions that hang on his every word. Unless you have some point of disagreement with Trump. Feel free to name it.

Why do you believe WAPO and not Kelly Ann Conway?

Do you realize most people who have trusted the MSM over the decades are decades long coolaid drinkers? I'm not saying everything they print is BS but on the really important society changing topics, there is major deception going on. When it comes to politics, they will protect their holy grail narratives at any price. If you read their stories unaware of that context, you are likely to fall for false information.

Running around in the Middle East and trying our best to calm things down, gets us nowhere. Those people have been at war for thousands of years. We've been a nation for 200 plus years.

Hopefully, President Trump will build up our military. (Defense wise.) Hopefully, he will get that wall built. And, he will get rid of Obamacare and replace it with something, far better.

we should take a look at canada's system, both for the good aspects and for the bad:

Introduction

Canada's health care system is a group of socialized health insurance plans that provides coverage to all Canadian citizens. It is publicly funded and administered on a provincial or territorial basis, within guidelines set by the federal government.

Under the health care system, individual citizens are provided preventative care and medical treatments from primary care physicians as well as access to hospitals, dental surgery and additional medical services. With a few exceptions, all citizens qualify for health coverage regardless of medical history, personal income, or standard of living.
