You could probably be a Christian and issue homos with licenses that say they are married, but it'd be a pretty difficult sell.

In the same way you're bigoted against having more fundamentalist Muslims in government positions.

Not surprising you'd support this. You've already declared you'd resign from being a parent to any of your children that turn out gay.

Nope.

You're making things up. Bigot.

So if a Muslim fundamentalist chef working at the White House quit their job because they were required to make a dish containing pork, you wouldn't be glad that they resigned?

You think Stripe cares about a chef working in the White House? :AMR:

If someone is willing to quit their job over their religious convictions then more power to them. And if someone in that position isn't willing to carry out the law then they should be out of there.

If you can't serve everyone in your community that your job requires, then you should resign your job.

If a county clerk refuses to issue a marriage license to an interracial couple, they are unfit for the job and should be fired immediately.

Similarly, if a county clerk refuses to issue a marriage licenses to a same sex couple, they are unfit for the job and should be fired immediately.

Just as if a county clerk refuses to issue to issue a marriage license to a married couple where at least one member of the couple had a prior marriage that was not officially annulled by the Catholic Church, they are unfit for the job and should be fired immediately.

Some states to are doing their best to uphold religious views on same-sex marriage.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has determined that country clerks are able to refuse to perform same-sex ceremonies if it violates their religious beliefs.

I clicked the link and my browser and computer went funny so I don't want to click it again. :noid:

Is the idea that there would be someone else in the office to perform it if a particular person refuses? Or would couples be out of luck and have to travel somewhere else?

Can the county clerks also refuse to marry couples whose members had at least one previous marriage that wasn't officially annulled by the Catholic Church?
