who knows how many other issues

he can't support them as a party

he feels philosophically opposed to much
of what the Republicans
are about

it's easy for him to take out his frustration
on that party

Actually IF you extend the meaning of pro life to include all others as well as the unborn, he is much more pro life than you will ever be.

Oh yeah. I've often thought Chrys could be the patron saint of those who are never wrong. Or maybe the patron saint of those who are never, never, never ever, anything remotely close to wrong. Folks could wear charms of say, a brick wall around their neck, and statues could be put up of Chrys: a figure with a bag over his head, where folks could light candles or leave flaming Republican pamphlets.

Or I suppose he could be the patron saint of stubborn mules.

But either way, yeah, poor martyred Chrys. It's like the martyred saints.

I've discovered what Chrys's job is...he is a catalyst, a focal point for malcontents, if something is wrong, if something is awful, even if it is not clear why Chrys must be to blame.
