Because the world still works for popularity. All I can do is to encourage people who are doing the right things. this is least I can do.
I guess I can plea to Mods to get rid of rep power to count all reps are equal, not according to the power.

It's the cancerous "entitlement mentality" which gives people the idea that someone owes them something!

You see, many powerful posters nag rep to put minority to be even worse. Are you a Christian?
Even so called "Christians" abuse their power. All I am asking is to make all reps count equal. It is not equal right now.

Everyone one needs encouragement. Minority needs more so. This is Jesus' way. Jesus is not for majority. I am speaking from Jesus' way. Not politically and majority point of view.
Neg rep is a form of insult. You object to that. Then you ask anna if she is a Christian.
You think insult is an abuse of power. You say "so called Christians". That's insulting.

I actually proposed that, but for a different reason. No one wanted to talk about it.
I've always given newbies rep and encouragement when they weren't of the sneering, hostile variety.
Except, in claiming to have the inside track you're saying what the majority always says, that it is in a superior position.

Mainstream or broadstream [orthodox] christians are still the narrow way as far as the world is concerned.

I'd take a guess that even with a different rep system, or without a rep system at all, you'd still find yourself in some similar sort of confrontational situation with people and the admin and that you'd have some issue that you didn't think was fair to you. Just something to think about.
Anyway, if you can get Knight to agree and sort it out for you, you can have all of my rep power. I'm not going to ask him, but if you want to yourself, that's fine. The only thing I would ask in return is that you never talk about rep again.

And, before some people chime in, we frequently if not mostly found ourselves disagreeing on topics when a good deal of that happened.You're really good about that. I recall benefiting from it myself.
That's something I wish more people would do, give a pos rep for a good argument, even (and sometimes especially) when you're on the other side of it. Because that fosters the sort of dialogue/discourse that can be profitable for everyone and can build regard, even friendships in the midst of difference.

True enough. I remember AA saying something about cage fighting... :chuckle:
Even though we still don't agree on various things, I use caution when approaching a difference with a friend. Not everything has to be argued, sometimes you can just agree to disagree. Some things are best argued out in the open, and some are best left to a private exchange. Discernment, I guess.
As rex could tell you, one of my recurring messages to him would be something along the lines of "I don't agree with you but as always I appreciate your civility."
