Who are you accusing of such things? And, what did they say that was SO horrendous?
It's quite apparent that Anti-Trinitarian posters around TOL, seem to have total contempt for those who believe in the Trinity. Their hatred is quite passionate/zealous.
In this thread alone, Trinity believers have been called;

Actually this thread started out being about JWs and some have turned it into a thread about the Trinity?
I'll fully admit, not all of Christendom accepts the doctrine of the Trinity, however, should there be this amount of animus being distributed against those who believe in this basic doctrine?
I think Meshak was the originator of this Anti-Trinity campaign and now a few of her friends have joined the battle on this thread.
Who knows, maybe next they'll be calling Trinitarians; Nazis and Communists?
I cannot fathom why posters who consider themselves Christians, would have a desire to align themselves with a Cult such as, the JWs?
This thread is about whether JW's worship Christ, and by denying Christ the Worship He deserves, one denies that God is triune.
Because they do not trust scripture.
We see folks like CherubRam who want to discredit many scriptures saying they did not exist in the originals.
And after he has opposed those scriptures, he then goes on about other scriptures being mistranslated in an attempt to discredit those also.
And then he goes into a "symbolic" rant with the rest of it, and comes up with all kinds of crazy doctrines.
He's a kook that doesn't give a flip about scripture and just plays games with it and discredit as much of it as he can.
I don'y consider him a member of the Body of Christ.

To be fair, it is likely that 1 John 5:7 was not in the originals. but that's ok, because there are plenty of other verses in the Bible that refer to God being triune that make up for it.
