Not sure what you are asking here. Can you be more precise in the question? Thanks. :)

I thought your scenario had a private police department working alongside the government's police department and I was asking what criminal code would the private group use. The same laws that the government has?

Glad you agree.

Now reread the article and get atheist/Libertarian Walter Block to agree that coercion is the role of government (per Romans 13:4)

Here's where our differences are. You are not consistent in your reasoning. You think it is "justice" to use the force of arms to steal from one to give to another.

That would be theft, except we're not talking about taking money from one person to give to another, we're talking about indispensable http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/indispensable

services that benefit an entire community (police and fire departments).

You "cherrypick" scripture for your own socialized agenda. You ought to be opposed, and you are rightfully so.

Like all Libertarians, your issue is with God.

Matthew 22: 17-21

Romans 13: 6-7

Luke 3: 12-13

Which one?

My employer takes money from my paycheck for the federal income tax, social security and medicare. I'm curious as to which one drbrumley considers "fair"?

Ben Carson’s Marxist Tax Plan

Just 158 families have spent nearly half of all money fueling the presidential 2016 campaigns, according to data collected by the New York Times.

When one breaks down the wealthiest and most influential donors, 138 of the 158 highest-spending families support Republicans, and are overwhelmingly white, male and older.

It should not be surprising, therefore, that the underlying goal of any tax plan that comes from a conservative presidential candidate is to reward those 138 families.

Why no link to your leftwing propaganda jgarden?

(Obviously those families didn't live in the following zip codes) :

Ok, back to this thread.

I was asked what my plan was, so here ya go.

1. All Federal Taxes wiped out.
2. Wipe out Federal Spending. At the least 90%.
3. Use the sale of lands, have lotteries, user fees, and donations to fund government.

That's a pretty simple and workable plan to fund government.

You do have reading comprehension problems don't you AcW?

That would be theft, except we're not talking about taking money from one person to give to another, we're talking about indispensable http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/indispensable

services that benefit an entire community (police and fire departments).

Taking from one to give to another is the same thing you numbskull.

Please state your disagreement with this. Be precise. I know you can do it.

Suppose I come at you with a gun, and threaten to shoot you unless you give me half of all your money. You’re an argumentative sort, and you say, “But, wait a second, this is a felony! Don’t you realize what you’re doing? You’re committing a crime.” My reply, “Oh, sorry, I forgot. I’ll tell you what I’ll do. I’ll give you some services. Here is a paper clip.” Big deal.

No, that would be you. God told you in 1 Samuel what would happen if one pursued. Maybe you need to take heed of it, since you haven't done so yet, or is this a case of they supporting you with your paycheck so your not willing to give that up?

Did I misunderstand atheist/Libertarian Walter Block when he justified in his article a father selling his 4 year old son (who is not an adult) to a member of the North American Man Boy Love Association for food?

Back to the role of government:

Do tell those of us that have "reading comprehension problems" what the righteous role of government is.

(My my, I must be getting under this Libertarian's skin). When a society taxes people to provide indispensable services, they're not taxing "one to give to another", they're taxing everyone, and everyone is benefiting from those services (police, fire, military services).

Libertarianism indoctrination 101, page 17, paragraph 3.

Lotteries are not necessarily like the ones you see states doing to support (they say) schools thereby encouraging gambling. But then you already knew that.

Lotteries? Donations? Tell us more!

What are 'user fees'?

And what's the one fair tax you mentioned?

Yikes ! Anyone who could accuse Ben Carson of having "Marxist " ideas does not even know what Marxism is . But I have yet to meet a conservative who knows what socialism, Marxism and communism
are . They just bandy these vaguely scary words around indiscriminately as fear mongering . These terms have become utterly meaningless .
