James 1:1 (KJV)

Mid first century. 12 tribes. Might as well accept it.

There was always 12 tribes.

However, they were divided into two houses.

The OT tells us that one day the two houses would be joined back together when the NC was made.

As of Luke 2 (the days of Anna of Aser)the two tribes had not been joined together because the NC hadn't been made yet.

This isn't hard to understand unless you try to make the Bible fit Darby's false teachings.

Wrong.

There was a small remnant from the 10 tribes who returned to Jerusalem (see Rom 11).

The vast majority of the 10 tribes were divorced from God, scattered amongst the Gentiles, and told they were not a people.

Read the book of Hosea, and take off your MAD sunglasses.

:chuckle:

You contradict yourself constantly. "The vast majority...."

Well, they did not cease to exist.

No contradiction.

Rom 11 tells us the remnant contained 7,000.

7,000 out of millions. Therefore, it was the "vast majority" that was scattered, divorced from God, and told they were not a people.
