Synopsis:

Left: Open minded

Right: Close minded

You've GOT to be joking. Closed minded liberals are the ones who try to censor their political opponents. Open-minded people don't do that.

Left: a social construct

Right: male and female

Science dictates that there are only two genders- they've gotten to the point of denying their own canon to perpetuate their agendas

any specific examples or just hyperbole?
No problem. Go to the top of this page (above the TOL logo) and click "Advanced Search"

Then type in the keyword "Censorship"
Search for "Titles only" not "entire thread"
Then type in Jefferson as the username.

You'll get 72 results of liberal censorship. Is that enough examples for you?

Human Nature

Left: basically good (Therefore, society is primarily responsible for evil.)

Right: not basically good (Therefore, the individual is primarily responsible for evil.)
...
Primary Role of the State

Left: increase and protect equality

Right: increase and protect liberty

Why would you seek to increase or protect the liberty of people who are not basically good? Seems counter-productive.

Also, when have conservatives ever fought for liberty?

Economic Goal

Left: equality

Right: prosperity

Why not both?

Family Ideal

Left: any loving unit of people

Right: a married father and mother, and children

I'm not so sure you know what liberty is.

View of America

Left: profoundly morally flawed; inferior to any number of European countries

Right: greatest force for good among nations in world history

All of America? Or just the straight, white, Christian part of it?

If your economic goal is "equality," then you want everybody to have the same amount of money. Prosperity, being relative, is simply not allowed, in such a view.

I don't think there are a lot of people who want that kind of equality. A basic level of equal opportunity, yes. Equal protection under the law? Yes. But equal amounts of money? No, not many would want that.

But it is the ideal for anyone who favors redistribution of wealth.

13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

You are open minded, except when Jefferson posts. Right?
