The problem is that "predestine" and "elect" are in scripture. There needs to be a good interpretation of those two concepts which oppose Calvinism. Which I have not seen yet.
And if "with the" were added. How does that change when Paul received the Holy Spirit?

Strong's 40: Set apart by (or for) God, holy, sacred. From hagos; sacred.
"And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Immediately there fell from his eyes something like...
"For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander" (Matthew 15:19).
If evil comes from the heart, where does love come from?
It does not seem that everone's name was written.
"All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world" (Rev. 13:8).
If the elect are all saved and their names in the book of life. Then how can a name be blotted out from the book of life.
"May they be blotted out of the book of life and not be listed with the righteous" (Psalm 69:28).
I believe one has to want that grace. It requires repentance, humbleness, and belief. Many are not willing to do that. I had to be brought to my knees by alcoholism and near death. I read Psalm 43:5 out of a Gideons Bible in a mental/detox ward.
"Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so...
I'm not rejoicing over anything in this world. The NT tells me to give myself to Christ and His commandments. The Bible tells me there would wars upon wars, plauges, and more evil. I am to help those I can. I am to leave justice in the hands of the government. I took the Word into prisons...
Not easy!
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor i and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous...
"Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry" (Col. 3:5).
How does one put that earthly nature to death?
But we have to "believe."
James 2:23
"And the Scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called a friend of God."
