  • I have two small cysts on my right kidney, and one big one 8" on my left kidney. It's basically the size of the left kidney. I also have multiple stones floating around freely in both kidneys. During my CAT scan, they "accidentally" found out I have some partial blockages in the main arteries going to and from my heart. Further tests have confirmed I have some heart problems. My heart is enlarged, besides the partial blockages and skips a beat now and then which I hear is not that uncommon. I have psoriatic arthritus and epilepsy.

My current prognosis; continue with current medications and get rescanned later in the year. I have trouble breathing from an unknown cause. O2 levels appear to be within normal range. The cyst on my left kidney maybe cancerous, or maybe benign. I'll find out, hopefully, later when they do a biopsy which I don't know why they haven't scheduled that already. Wait and see.
Stress at work (age discrimination and health discrimination), stress at home with respect to my wife's serious health problems, my own health problems, IRS problems, etc., have taken their toll on my tolerance level. It hasn't helped that I've had to switch to the generic for my epilepsy medicine because we can no longer afford the name brand. ($750/3 months)
I don't know you well enough to explain publicly or privately my current word choice. I am fed up with "Christians" who try to justify their anti-Semitism. Let's just say I reached a breaking point and I'm choosing my words carefully, trying not to get banned.
Thanks again. I appreciate both the smack and the gentle hand. I don't 'like' the smack. I'm not supposed to. I had just hoped time behind the woodshed might be a thing of my distant past. So, I don't like it, but I don't despise it.
Thank you. I'm just not a "smack" kind of guy. I don't really like and it rubs me the wrong way. I tend to think 'dysfunctional' but I don't want to judge as simply an aversion. They are correct "[Peter] Get away from me Satan!" is hard. I always cringe reading Matthew 16. And that's my Lord! That's why I need a bit of time to think and pray. I may have to learn to smack or be smacked. Matthew 16:23 seems an exceptionally hard reprimand.
I love old hymns. I was walking around humming one day not long ago and eventually realized it was, "Let the Lower Lights be Burning"...just out of the years and the blue. I told mother, "Well, grandmother must have been thinking of me." :)
I'd love to have it. And I'm happy to find both of you mending as nature and time allow. Thank God for small mercies.
Thanks. I'll give it a few days rest and see where it goes from here.
I tried to get all into one post, I succeeded, and received a PM not do that anymore, that's been a long time ago. I was so excited to fine a decent theology forum.
I know I'm kind because I always speak the truth, but it seems wasted on you as you can't receive the truth.
May the blessing of the Lord be upon you and your house hold. May you go out safely and return joyfully. For the Joy of the Lord is strength.
Plesae remove the PM with my phone # after you write it down. Feel free to share the number with Inzl, Tambora, or Wile E. but no one else.
There's a same page between us, never paroled. On another note long prison terms, google Gene Neill, I believe he was sentenced 50 years of solitary confinement in Springfield, Missouri, I believe it was white collar crimes. It's an amazing story.
"How To Work For Christ" Check ebay, I saw two. My copy is a first edition that mt brother gave me. You might also find it at Alibris used books, when looked they still had one copy, under that exact title.
Yes, thank you. It was kind of Knight. Still there others who I think are more deserving.

I think picks should be by a small committee, they are ... Of course if the picks were by committee ther might not be any picks.

    Do committees ever really agree?
    Hello Psalmist,
I hope all is well with you and yours.
Thank you for the many fine things you have posted, I have been blessed by them frequently!
And please excuse me and forgive me if I act a little bad sometimes - it is not against you or your creations !
We are doing well, some days are better than others, we are truly thankful for the better days. As for the ministry, we believe that we are servants doing what the Lord graced us with to do in retirement/healthcare (30+ years, and on going), we know that one we'll lay down our mantle and pass the torch and the sword of the Lord to another of the Lord's faithful servant; there is an old hymn that is titled "Until Then," to which we say yes Lord until then. My still being in funeral service, part time directing/and visitation specialist/host and the occasional officiating is a blessing of the Lord as well.

How are things with you and your family? We have asked the Lord for you and your family, that your foot step is sure, your grip is firm, and your vision for the Lord be fruitful and onward; that you are richly blessed in the unseen, that your temporal needs are like drinking from the saucer because your cup is full and running over.
