It's safe here at present despite koala park being lit by firebug, coz blaze was contained fast with bulldozers, and local spot fires never became part of the uncontrolled holocaust that others are suffering. Johana has some chilling accounts regarding major fires. Our family used to live around Kinglake area so family friends have been lost ... obviously... since Kinglake was annihilated. Young family friend in Broadfoard had birthday and instead of candles he watched his house burn down ... it's all too much. Everyone walking around in shock and tears. Is strange how we react in ways we don't expect. Been somewhat distracted by events sorry pal. Hope to catch up when my head catches up. Are you ok? QLD suffering floods isn't it ... hope you are ok. Watch out for escaped crocs. Take care
