  • I'm looking after a friends for a coupla hours so taking advantage of the net....:D I'll go check that thread out.
I've posted on my own page in reply to someone plenty of times so thought it best to point it out...

Epics can certainly be engrossing, up to the point where you can be left thinking "oh don't stop now..." :D
I didn't think so, I hope things aren't too bad though?

I was over a friends last night so I just crashed over there and waited for flat mate to turn back up today. I'll have to get a new set cut this week...
    I'll think about it...

That's what some of them thought, but unfortunately they all survived and ended up in a ditch in Madagascar...
    So am I. :)

Really? I'm better than how the day started which was lousy...but I hope you're not doing that bad?
    Good. :)

200 miles? Wow, sounds good. I look forward to hearing about it.

Busy, practically all on that thread I started...:freak:
Your comment was only subjective. You couldn't propose it as an 'objective truth' because it would be impossible for you to do so. Even now you talk about how music "for most people" would lose a "crucial" part of its value if they were "robbed" of melody. Do you see how loaded your proposition is? You're practically projecting your own values on music and somehow expect it to be received in an objective manner, and once again using the 'popular' as a way to justify your previous statement. Good harmony does not require good melody TH. If one person out of a million enjoys a spectral composition then that harmony is as valid as 'three blind mice'. Why is it so difficult for you to retract a statement which simply doesn't hold up? Or amend it even?
    It certainly is...

Yes, he'd had some great news after a bit of a torrid time, and it was his sons birthday today so that went well. It went well and got quite deep last night...
I just played poker earlier and after a great start I lost all my chips. Still, it was just a freeroll on 'Full Tilt' so nothing lost...such an irritating game at times though....:chuckle:
