Calvinism is REAL Reformed, Protestant doctrine. Other non-Catholic folk and their free will, Arminian thing never stand up to scrutiny but Calvinism does every time. They act like they are too good for theological logic.

Why Nobody Should Listen to Robert Pate:

'Nuff said...

You apparently believe that God predestinates some to eternal life and the rest to eternal damnation.

Here is the heart of your problem. It is not possible to have faith in a God that would do such a terrible, unjust, unmerciful, unrighteous thing such as that.

You apparently believe that God predestinates some to eternal life and the rest to eternal damnation.
You apparently pick and choose which parts of the bible you will accept based on your preconceived biases.

As you did here.

Here is the heart of your problem. You don't accept the bible.
Therefore your opinions on what God is like are useless and worthless.

Calvinism has nothing to do with the reformation.

The reformation was led by Martin Luther. John Calvin was just one of the many that broke away from the Catholic church.

Luther and Calvin had very little incommon. They had never met each other.

Luther broke away from the Catholic church because he believe that Christians were justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

Because of your perverted view of the nature and character of God you are without hope.

That is all entirely false, except for the part where they never met. The Reformation was not an exclusive entity, Luther was not the dictator of it. He simply started the beef.

Calvinism IS Reformed theology. They are synonymous words.

Because you are ashamed of the word of God, you are lost (Luke 9:26).

You make a sham out of the grace of God that has been revealed to us in the Gospel.

"God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16.

because of your rejection of Christ and his Gospel you are under condemnation.

All that John Calvin did in the reformation was to participate in it.

Luther was the instigator of the reformation. Not Calvin.

WORK: Any religious thing that YOU do.

Faith or believing is not a work because it is a mental embracing of a truth. We embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ and make it ours by faith.

You teach that man is saved by work's, something that he must do !

Luther was the instigator of the reformation. Not Calvin.

Luther was a Catholic monk who challenged the Church. He laid the groundwork for predestination and faith alone, by which Calvin came and took a step further.

Luther couldn't fully shed his Catholicism. That is why Lutheran churches seem to have one foot into reformed ideology and the other in catholic.
Calvin was the one who perfected the theology, which it is known today as Reformed doctrine.

Calvin was not merely a participant. He was the co-champion of the entire thing. You just have a bias that prevents you from acknowledging that.

If Jesus died for our sins , what happened to the countless people who lived and died before him ? Are they in hell merely because they had the misfortune to live before him ? This isn't their fault .
What about all the primitive peoples all over the world in remote areas who never get to hear about Jesus, and can't even conceive of him, knowing nothing of the outside world ?
Does God consign these innocent people to hell for eternity ? Again, this isn't their fault .

People always have been and always will be justfied by faith.

Abraham believed God and was justified by faith, Romans 4:3.

Many people that live in remote places on the earth have remorse for their sins. They are repentant. These are the ones that come to Christ when they hear the Gospel.

God is the just judge. Only God can judge the heart.

Reformed theology's penchant for allegoricism shows its roots are still firmly in Augustinianism.
