town doesn't seem to want to talk about the texas abortion law

I noticed that

why is that?

I can only speculate

I love it when you speculate

it may be inconsistent with his views

what are they?

amending the constitution is the only way to address abortion

isn't that hard to do?

it only takes 34 democrats to stop it

don't they want to keep it legal?

town thinks you can change their minds

isn't that hard to do?

it is as easy as getting him to talk about the texas abortion law

so why do you pick on town?

there are so many reasons

can you list them?

he says he is pro life
he says abortion should not be legal
he voted for obama
he wants a constitutional amendment
he will not run from an argument
he has many friends
so
he is the best example of a pro life christian who does not have to vote republican
and
there are far too many of them here at tol

With you? No. Though I suppose I have already.

I noticed that
That's because you're not entirely honest where people who differ with you are concerned. It's a real problem.

why is that?

I can only speculate
That's what he calls inferential character assassination.

amending the constitution is the only way to address abortion
That's my position. And for much the same reason that slavery was abolished via amendment after a bad S.Ct. ruling buttressed bad law.

isn't that hard to do?

it only takes 34 democrats to stop it
Rather, it takes that many votes from people representing constituents. You want a different vote you change the minds of people.

town thinks you can change their minds
Sure. You have to. In fact, polling data tells us that people's minds are being changed.

isn't that hard to do?
It's easier than changing a wide range of views required to see them abandon their party. And that's the point.

so why do you pick on town?
Pick on me? I don't feel picked on. And I know why you single me out. You see me as someone who is popular but not well protected by the power structure and you absolutely aren't going to risk anything by going after them, are you.

there are so many reasons
can you list them?

he says he is pro life
So do you.

he says abortion should not be legal
So do you.

he voted for obama
Yes and no, respectively.

he wants a constitutional amendment
I do.

he will not run from an argument
Why would I?

he has many friends
The nerve... :plain:

so he is the best example of a pro life christian who does not have to vote republican
I don't have to vote for either party.

so why do you pick on town?

Me? Huh? I don't pick on him very often, just now and then. Various reasons.

Here's one for you: What's the story with people at TOL referring to themselves in 3rd person?

zoo doesn't think I know anyone in real life who does that. Just here at TOL.

Sweet, but I miss it half the time, so that has to be disappointing.

I've been asking myself that question, but I can't get my head around it either. :plain: See?

zoo doesn't think I know anyone in real life who does that. Just here at TOL.
Not a sports guy then. That explains the dance video (don't make me post it).

Sorry, I thought a break from chrys evasive driving school was in order.
