At the same time, less than half of some 37 million plus African Americans in the U.S. live in poverty.

But, yeah, I get what you mean. Obama played it safe.

Didn't stop the so called Far Right from asserting otherwise.

But perhaps someone with a much more urban background might have cared a bit more about "his own."

You can't really measure the overall performance of a President until they have been out of office for several years and all the benefits/fall-out of their actions have had time to develop. So Obama and Trump can't really be evaluated yet. There is always going to be people who say the man in office is the best but that is more an emotional/cheerleading evaluation than a practical one.

I would say that Regan is the best during my lifetime so far.
