You are neither a Gentile like the Galatians or Abraham's seed. So there.
I am related to Abraham.
As are all true Christians.
You are neither a Gentile like the Galatians or Abraham's seed. So there.
Rom 2:14 (AKJV/PCE)While the old law was in existence---GENTILES were EXCLUDED FROM GOD and WITHOUT Christ BECAUSE of the law!
Ephesaian 2:12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.
So you can see that the OLD LAW DID IN FACT affect the Gentiles.
Under the old law, if ANYONE wanted to be close to God they HAD TO BE CIRCUMCISED and clean themselves and offer animals to sacrifice! If you did not do those things you could not be called a child of God and go to the temple WHERE HIS SPIRIT WAS.
With a riddle? :idunno:Gal 3:23 (AKJV/PCE)(3:23) But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Rom 2:14 (AKJV/PCE)(2:14) For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
How do you suppose IP reconciles these?
:nono:I am related to Abraham.
As are all true Christians.
Paul is telling all men not by works of righteousness which we have done as in:
"all things which are written in the book of the law to do them" (Galatians 3:10 KJV)
as in "there is none righteous, no not one (Romans 3:10-12 KJV)
as in all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23 KJV)
Paul preached justification freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Romans 2:23 KJV, Romans 8:33 KJV)
to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly (Romans 4:5 KJV)
according to His mercy (Titus 3:5-6 KJV) and great love we are saved (Ephesians 2:4-9 KJV)
All of His work, even the righteousness of God which is by faith OF Jesus Christ is put to the account,"upon all them that believe" (Romans 3:21-22 KJV) the good news of our salvation (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV, Ephesians 1:13-14 KJV).
And FYI, "Christians" were those who believed the WHO of Jesus Christ, not the WHY of the cross. That term is not attributed to anyone once in the Body of Christ. As are all true Christians.
:nono:
These poor Ephesians and me, then.
Ephesians 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
Ephesians 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
GT still doesn't believe "all" means all (Galatians 3:10 KJV). What a shocker...not.Paul says not of works---THAT IS ABOUT the ceremonial/purification works.
And FYI, "Christians" were those who believed the WHO of Jesus Christ, not the WHY of the cross. That term is not attributed to anyone once in the Body of Christ.
The NC is future with the house of Judah and the house of Israel specifically (Hebrews 8:8 KJV) and has nothing to do with what I have cited. There is a New Testament, which means NEW COVENANT.
GT still doesn't believe "all" means all (Galatians 3:10 KJV). What a shocker...not.
And, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done"...means not by any which we have done (Titus 3:5 KJV)!
You don't and you're holding others to it?We have to do what the Way says to get to the Father.
Romans 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. That is about how we do NOT have to get circumcised and observe the special days---because the Galatians WERE talked INTO DOING THOSE THINGS.
Paul is NOT rebuking the Galatians for obeying Jesus too much.
Paul is rebuking the Galatians for being talked into observing the special days and getting circumcised...if they do those things to be justified before God---THEN JESUS DIED in VAIN and they would have to obey ALL the old law and sacrifice animals, and adhere to the dietary laws.
You don't and you're holding others to it?
Salvation is by grace through faith/not of ourselves/the gift of God so religious, but lost believe notters like you can't boast about what you did or do to save yourself (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV).Jesus is the Sacrificial Lamb of God and his blood cleans us.
That means no one has to get circumcised and do all the other CLEANING/PURIFICATION/CEREMONIAL WORKS anymore.
Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
Stick to the scriptures I gave and discuss that way instead of your worthless accusations.
Why don't you do any of what the Lord taught in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John?We are not robots. Jesus tells us what to do, and we do it, if we want to be saved.
Salvation is by grace through faith/not of ourselves/the gift of God so religious, but lost believe notters like you can't boast about what you did or do to save yourself (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV).
Romans 11:6 KJV means exactly what it says. Why does it bother you worker wannabes so badly? You say obey, obey obey, but every time someone shows you what the Lord commanded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John which you claim is TO you, you deny having to obey it. You are a charlatan. Is there something wrong with you?
Are you reading what I am taking the time to carefully explain to you with scripture?
When Paul says NO MORE WORKS---he is NOT saying NO MORE OBEY.
