An "appearance of evil" is communicating to others that they are not right with God if they drink wine. The point was not to exile ourselves but rather to "(1 Thessalonians 5:22) Abstain from all appearance of evil." It's not only the amount you may or may not drink it's also the where & when. If you're in a bar ordering an alcoholic beverage what does that do to your testimony?
if you research the word yeast in the earliest recorded history, you can't tell if they are talking about bread or beer
so
at the last supper it could have been beer and wine

Absolutely nothing. In fact, here where I live, not drinking alcohol could damage my testimony and push others away from the Gospel. If you're in a bar ordering an alcoholic beverage what does that do to your testimony?
You post
some
extremely goofy stuff at times.
Jekehoe,
Have you ever had a storm on Friday night and woke up Saturday morning to find sticks all over your yard? If so, did you pick them up?
Serious question.
