Thanks for sharing this beautiful video of Nine Inch Nails featuring David Bowie. America has long been considered as the Promised Land. This view has been challenged, but Americans are still striving to fulfill their dreams in a land full of contradictions. I noticed that some other members have posted some more videos worth checking out.
I remember When Nobody Hears came out in 1992, a difficult time in life, just listening to music, one of many moments. I went to the CD shops looking for the Art of Rebellion, but they were sold out. I picked up How I Can I Laugh Tomorrow...
I didn't like the album, but, I could relate. A defining moment, at one time. It's an interesting thing, music and moments in time.
I was browsing some of the recommended to me things on UTube, came up on Joe Satriani's newest..... couldn't get into it, went right to Cool #9 :tunes:
Quirky as anything this track. Starts off like a hip hop track, then jazz, then very contemplative, then mixes it all up and with a vocalist who has some range...eccentric...
Ooops, I'm doing it again, sharing music first at TOL.
UTube didn't recommend this band from the 70's, but I like the sound of a couple songs off Darkness to Light and the debut album Just a Poke. Yes, I suspect they did inhale cannibis.
