A one degree variance can be the difference between enough snow pack for the rivers in the Summer, or not. Climate change is a fact, what is not agreed upon is the impact it will have. I have seen carbon emissions from autos damage plant life. A increase in temperature can mean more violent storms also. I do not worship the Earth, but we should do what we can to take care of what we have.

Whatever damaged those plants was not carbon dioxide (C02).

I also think that methane emissions are going to cause a much greater problem that carbon ever could

In America we have been having record breaking weather year after year. Both hot, cold, rain and snow, and droughts. A whole lot of everything, depending on where you live.

You and I both know that there are countless sources saying that the global temperature IS rising.
Can you provide one of your scholarly/reliable sources here that supports your claim that "there has been no change in global temperature"?
