 The most politically corrupt administration since Grant or an incompetent bunch of whiners. That's a tough call, but why choose? :plain:

Since Grant, oh he had some excuse, being such a boozer. That says something for Harding; he promised a return to "normalcy".:D

We have what we have. When we go to the polls, again, will we do any better?
We are so polarized politically I don't know how we shall come together again.

Through the primary races. The people have successfully unseated several incumbents already by taking them off the ballot. We must push for better candidates; people of good reputation should run for office; we have to insist on improvement in the primary process. The primaries are key to getting a fresh government - boot the bums off the ballot and replace them with those who have been living among us rather than in the rarefied air of DC.

The people of both main parties must stage coups in their parties - take back control from the good-ol-boy networks in each. Get rid of those slimy elitists who think they can run our lives better than we can run them.

And then we will have a new brood of slimy elitists. Power corrupts. And those who think they are immune to the corruption power brings, are the most vulnerable to it.

The writing is on the wall for W...and it doesn't make for pretty prose.

There's still time for the big O...

Does that go for your Catholic heirarchy as well?

Certainly does. When the Church had temporal power, many of it's leaders were corrupt.
Thanks for asking; that probably needed clearing up, um?

I'd say Obama is doing pretty good at doing bad, after all he has only had two years to screw things up while Bush had eight years.

To be fair, much of the major damage was set up by the Reagan, Bush, and Clinton administrations, particularly deregulation of banks, incentives to big businesses to ship jobs overseas, etc.

By the time Bush came to office, the economy was fragile. He just finished the job.

And once it started to tip, it fell pretty fast.

I think Obama is doing good at doing bad is a British understatement. Obama even makes Jimmy carter look good.

Blaming an individual president for our problems is ridiculous. The only thing "worse" between any given POTUS might be their rhetoric or attitude.
