...by tattling on your friends, you're really just tattling on yourself. By tattling on your friends, you're just telling them that you're a tattletale. Now is that the tale you want to tell? - Mike Brady

Telling someone that they must keep the Law to be acceptable to God is like firing your maid for stealing your Holiday Inn towels.

Telling someone their marriage is against your religion is like yelling at someone for eating a donut when you're on a diet.

I find that men willing to do something "in a heartbeat" would repent on the second beat, once oxygen had reached the brain.

"One can’t fight slander; it’s a losing battle;
Let us ignore their tittle-tattle.
Let’s strive to live by conscience’ clear decrees,
And let the gossips gossip as they please."
-Moliere, Tartuffe

"A man is a mass of contradiction…. It isn't unusual in him to kill what he loves."
-Jean Anouilh, The Lark

"It’s the fate of many propositions to begin as heresies and end as truths."
-Thomas Huxley

"Every generation thinks it’s the most put upon in history."
-Christopher Buckley, Boomsday

"Early to bed and early to rise makes a man stupid and blind in the eyes."

The universe is holographic; the hermetic principle prevails. As above, so below; as within, so without. There is no God but ALL; God is all and everywhere. No church or religion has a corner on it; no book has the full scoop. Spirit creates reality, but not just one spirit as an individual; we are all in it together. Everything has a within, or spirit. As we expand and evolve our consciousness and life, we are ever more conscious; ever more aware of the beauty, and the hero's journey we are all involved in. The more conscious we are, the more we can handle the unconscious impulses from lower levels (there is no other "devil" than that), so we learn not to cling, fear, push, manipulate, force, and thus we get more freedom. Truth is one and absolute; formulations and realizations of it vary. We can be guided from within, and helped by others who share with us. The universe is within us; we are a hologram of God.
