I must admit, I'm not a big fan of modern Christian music (modern as in modern genres).

Favorites (not all of these have Christian texts per se since they are classical, but they are musical meditations upon religious themes):

Arvo Pärt (Pretty much everything he has written)

J. S. Bach ("Ich Ruf Zu Dir, Herr Jesu Christ" in particular)

Henryk Gorecki ("Symphony of Sorrowful songs" and "Misere")

Morten Lauridsen ("Lux Aeterna" and his rendition of "Ave Maria" in particular)

Krzysztof Penderecki ("Sympony no.7: Seven Gates of Jerusalem)

Olivier Messiaen ("Amen de la création" and "Louange à l'immortalité de Jésus" in particular)

Gregorian chant (Except those cheesy terrible remakes of modern hits :chuckle:)
