The two jobs I have now are fulfilling my dreams:

1. Theology professor
2. Intellectual property consultant - wireless communications domain

AMR

Having tried psychology professor, I applaud you, not having the patience for it myself.

I do not know much about wireless communications, other than it being communication without a wire.

:ha: I've seen forums try that in the past and it absolutely kills new registrations.

I will agree with Knight here, paid to enter forums, seldom work without a special angle; not found on most open forums.

Close to what I am doing now, a professor at a small college but hopefully in an awesome town with great restaurants and schools, and closer to my family. I'd hope for a bit more field/upper level classes with more research but with someone to write my grants for me. :)

You know you have to wait it out on the first and the bigger universities are more often granted the, shall I be redundant? If you show an ability above your peerage, you might become part of team grant.

A good friend of mine is an Army Chaplain, (over 20 years) he loves his job. I think it looks/sounds very cool too.
I'm not sure if it woud be as fun as it sounds, but a helocopter or plane pilot of some sort seems like it would be fun.

Douglas county, Colorado. But hurry. The Californians started moving in back in the early 90's, and they smell funny.

I liked Colorado when I was there driving through. You are right about the Californians...the smell is even stronger from here. :dizzy:

Grow some vegetables...a fruit tree or two. Perhaps some chickens for eggs and meat as well as some pigs.

You grow chickens?

Well I'm on the way to becoming a registered nurse; but it is not my dream job, really I see the nursing thing leading me to teaching, which still isn't my dream job.

It would have to be . . . .

Getting paid to play music :guitar:

or

Being a journalist, working in other countries etc.

After some brain-searching, I'm leaving professional academics to pursue my own research and write. I love teaching, but I cannot say the same for academic bureaucracy or the sheer number of pretentious academics. Basically, I made/saved enough money to do exactly what I want to do for the foreseeable future.

Employment: Human resources and services.

Job: Funeral home receptionist, family service, and viewing/visitation specialist.

However, I'm in the ideal employment situation, in the service of the Lord.

Job: Retirement/healthcare Chaplain.

Id like to own my own drilling company. No more than 2 or 3 rigs. All compund power rigs. Brake handle, a kelly and tongs. We'd only drill footage holes, and we would take care of our boys. I'd drill on one, and personally hire the hands for the other rigs.

On my days off I would like to counsel young men. There is a desperate need for men in our society. The majority of boys have no idea what masculinity is, or how to be a man. I think I would be a very good counsellor/ youth group leader.
