We were the "Western Family" growing up.

The closest thing I have to brand loyalty now is Costco.

Costco Rocks! I call it the $100.00 dollar store, I can never get out of that place under a bill. Costco brings good value to the customer though. :thumb:

A few years ago, my wife got some tires at Costco, and after a bit they were wearing funny and she went back to check it out.

Turns out, they messed up somehow. The tire manager was aghast, apologized repeatedly, and gave her four new Michelins, a couple of steps up from the ones she bought; just put them on her car, and didn't charge even for pro-rated wear.

That's an extreme example, but still typical, of the sort of customer service we've gotten at Costco. The tire affair made them a customer for life. When we have to buy something, her first question is:

"Can we get it at Costco?"

And no, neither of us or any of our family work for Costco.

Me? I don't think anything comes close to Guinness. And although I preferred Nikon over anything else when I shot film, I'm sold on Pentax for digital DSLRs.
