I wish we had a list of those who have been banned available, and that the most recent ones might appear on the 'Active' page. I think it might make TOL a little more interesting. Maybe we should have a contest to see who can get banned the most, without ever being 'Permanently Banned.' Just a thought.

why are you choosing to push him? Do you want to get kicked off so you can feign hurt and surprise and play the "poor me" routine?
If you would just take my earlier advice about trying a different topic and conversing with people instead of spending all day, every day, trying to poke bears with your flacid little stick, you might not find yourself in danger of getting the proverbial boot.

I believe Knight is encouraging thoughtful discourse, whether light-hearted or serious.
He is trying to eradicate disruptive, senseless, or self-congratulatory nonsense. Unfortunately that means targeting certain posters who have made it their mission to derail all conversation, then steer it back to themselves.
I don't understand what possible objection you could have to that.

If am, (and I believe he was joking,) I probably earned it in some way.
Knight doesn't go about banning people on a whim. that would be a sure way to kill the site he's worked so hard to build. When he kicks someone to the curb, there are reasons. If the "kickee" is too childish to admit they had it coming, that's their problem.
