Today, I am grateful for.....

.....Tuesday morning, and our one-on-one visitations at the nursing home.

.....Having lunch with the retirement/nursing home residents.

.....Tuesday afternoon, and our one-on-one visitations at the retirement center.​

I'm officially a great aunt!!!!! My niece just had her first baby!!! I'm thankful she didn't have to have a C-section (they give them out like candy these days) and well babies are just fantastic.

Today, when I was with the kids at the playground, I was observing a very large oak tree. As I looked up into its enormity, I began to reflect on the number of storms it had weathered in its long life. Almost immediately I thought of Psalm 1:3 and how Jesus is the stream of living water.

Thank God for his mercies. They are new every morning.

.....Time to help our neighbors.

.....Making the task or job easier for the next person.

.....Our mailman who is very considerate of those cannot go to the mailbox.​

I'm grateful to be alive having made it through another winter at the north pole! I hope it end now, just for a few months and I would like to be of some help before going totally bingo, because that is where I am headed and probably will never win because I have doubts I will recognise my number when called.

Oh, well, there will be plenty of old ladies to talk with, this much, I know.
