What debate?

The debate of whether or not the national media is unbiased. Liberals have always proclaimed the media to be neutral. Conservatives have always proclaimed it to be left wing.

Today, because of Trump, even libs don't argue this point. It's all out in the open. For decades, at least 50 years, the national media did a lousy job of trying to convince conservatives that the media was neutral.

Then along came Trump, the first Republican ever with enough courage to tell the national liberal media where they can shove it.

The gloves came off and the media's pretending to be neutral ended.

Hence, the half century long debate was clearly won by conservatives in full view of the entire country.

Hmm, hardly. He spent half the time dodging awkward questions he didn't want to field by declaring "fake news" and the same with any news article he didn't appreciate with the same tired stuff on twitter. That doesn't require any courage. With some of his outlandish claims and gaffes he was bound to invite media attention including scorn and derision. He's that much of a narcissist, he couldn't handle looking bad. If any negative news came out of his beloved Fox News, he threw fits on social media and demand a new news outlet, one that presumably wouldn't ever dare criticize him. Again, no courage required. To top it all off he still hasn't conceded an election in which he's blatantly lost.

Maybe the media was more entrenched against Trump then the whole of the right?

Our BBC made daily reports about Trump and I would guess that a massive % of Brits do despise him at this time, but I don't think that even the BBC is far left..... The BBC vilified far left Labour leader Corbyn ...utterly.

So our Beeb has roasted both far left and far right politicians ..... Maybe this is like your own media?

Then you agree that Donald Trump has forced the left to agree that the conservatives were right for the past 50 years that the national media was not unbiased, straight down the middle, pure as the wind driven snow as they claimed to be.
