The True Gospel of Jesus Christ and the False Gospel of John Calvin

The best way to determine if a bill is a counterfiet is to hold it up alongside of the genuine real legitimate bill and compare the two. When this is done it becomes very obvious which is the true and which is the false.

The word "Gospel" means good news. If there is no good news in your Gospel then you probably have the wrong Gospel or a false Gospel.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is good news for everyone that does nothing more than believe in Jesus Christ.

"He that believes on him (Jesus) is not condemned: but he that does not believe is condemned already" John 3:18.

There is no good news in John Calvin's Gospel. In John Calvin's Gospel it does not matter whether or not you believe in Jesus. If you have NOT been predestinated to be saved by a declaration of God you are eternally lost. Predestination is John Calvins Gospel. There is a problem with that. The word "predestination" only appears in the Bible about four times. The word is not related to anyone that has been predestinated. There is no scripture anywhere in the bible about anyone being predestinated to heaven or to hell.

In the Gospel of Jesus Christ God's great love for fallen man is revealed. "God so loves the world (humanity) that he gives his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER (everyone) that believes in him (Jesus) should not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16.

In the Gospel of Jesus Christ salvation is offered to all who do nothing more than believe in Jesus. In the false Gospel of John Calvin only "Some Special Persons" (Cannons of Dort) are predestinated to eternal life. The rest are condemned to hell for no reason other than they were not one of the lucky ones. It is not possible to have saving faith in a God that would do such a thing as this. The false God of John Calvin is unjust, unmerciful, unrighteous and is a murderous tyrant.

In the Gospel of Jesus Christ God clothes himself in human flesh and becomes one with us, but not one of us, "The word was made flesh and dwelt among us" John John 1:14. Jesus comes into the world to do for us that which we cannot do for ourselves. In our name and on our behalf he offers to God the Father a life of perfect obedience to his Holy Law. It was the life of Jesus that was lived for our justification, Romans 3:26.

That was not enough. Something had to be done about our sins. Because Jesus was without sin he was able to atone for our sins and not our sins only, but also for the sins of the whole world, 1 John 2:2. Because of the doing and the dying of Jesus he was able to reconcile the whole world unto God. "God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself" 2 Corinthians 5:19. Here is the "Good News" of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God now sees ALL THINGS in his Son Jesus Christ, Colossians 1:20. As far as God is concerned sin, death and the devil have been destroyed, Colossians 2:15.

It is because of what Christ has accomplished that now, "Whosoever (meaning all, anyone, everyone) that shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13. This is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. No one has to be predestinated. No one has to do anything. salvation has been provided for all who do nothing more that trust in Jesus. "That he (Jesus) by the grace of God should taste death for everyone" Hebrews 2:9. Not for "Some Special Persons" but for everyone.

You teach a false gospel, salvation by what man does. You deny that Christ's Death alone saved eternally those He died for !

What happens when they are both real, but look very different?

Yeah but you have to know what a genuine bill looks like in order to spot a phony.

The true Gospel of Jesus Christ is in the Bible, which is the word of God.

The false Gospel of John Calvin can be found in the Canons of Dort, that was written by a Calvinist.

Now which one do you think that you should believe?

Accordingly Malachi, having enjoined the Jews to attend to the Law of Moses, (because after his death there was to be an interruption of the prophetical office,) immediately after declares that the Sun of righteousness should arise, (Mal. 4: 2;) thus intimating, that though the Law had the effect of keeping the pious in expectation of the coming Messiah, there was ground to hope for much greater light on his advent. For this reason, Peter, speaking of the ancient prophets, says, "Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us, they did minister the things which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you, with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven," (1 Pet. 1: 12.) Not that the prophetical doctrine was useless to the ancient people, or unavailing to the prophets themselves, but that they did not obtain possession of the treasure which God has transmitted to US by their hands. The grace of which they testified is now set familiarly before our eyes. They had only a slight foretaste; to us is given a fuller fruition. Our Saviour, accordingly, while he declares that Moses testified of him, extols the superior measure of grace bestowed upon us, (John 5: 46.) Addressing his disciples, he says, "Blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them, and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them," (Matth. 13: 16; Luke 10: 23.) It is no small commendation of the gospel revelation, that God has preferred us to holy men of old, so much distinguished for piety.

Oh so you are a gambler huh?

I'm going to call your bluff. If you play cards like you teach Sunday school I should be able to clean house.

There is only one true Gospel, Galatians 1:6-10.

It is your responsibilty to know what is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.

There is only one true Gospel, but your reference is incorrect.
This is the true Gospel:

Revelation 14:6-7
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

This is the same gospel preached by John the Immerser, Jesus the Messiah, the 12 Disciples, and Paul.

If you believe that Paul did not preach the same gospel, then I refer you to this passage which explains why you came to the wrong conclusion:

2 Peter 3:14-17
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

The Gospel is God's great revelation to all men. Unfortunately there be only few that find it, Matthew 7:14.

No that is not the Gospel.

The Gospel is about how Jesus justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles us and the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19.

Have you been reconciled unto God?

You dont believe or understand those verses, please exegete them for us. Those in 2 Cor 5:19 dont have sin charged to them, and scripture teaches men shall die in their sins Jn 8:24 !

How can you speak on the Gospel when you deny Christ's Death saved them He died for, and you teach salvation by works !

Salvation has been provided for all, Hebrews 2:9, by the doing and the dying of Jesus... so that now... "Whosoever that shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13

Have you done that?

Foolishness. You got to prove your opening statement. If I prove your opening false then your house is built on shifting sand. Just like your sweethearts, very shifty.

Besides, the Calvinists approved the usage of continentals to fight the Revolution. All that loot became worthless. Just like those green backs will some day that you compare the Gospel to.

Very sad.

Very foolish.

Very wormy.
