Jesus justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5. You don't think that you are ungodly, so you won't be justified.
Both of you teach salvation by works, by what man does!

You believe the gospel reduced the words of God to just one word 'believe'.
You do not understand Jesus says believe and he means believe you have to obey him, all his words.
Make sure you continue to stay teachable, thats the only way you'll have a chance to know the truth.

Ok Gods truth, heres your chance. Please explain how you obey to be in Chrsit.
I obey Jesus and repent of my sins.
Luke 13:3 ...But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
I was made righteous not by obeying, but by Christ obeying Rom 5:19 !
False statements and invalid!Christ said he obeyed God and that you have to obey him if you want to be loved.

Don't you know what Jesus says?
Salvation is to those who fear God and do what is right.
Jesus says to humble yourself or you cannot enter.
To repent of sins or you will perish.
Jesus says to forgive or you will not be forgiven.
Jesus says to call on him for help.
Do you understand if you go the "obedience" route to be in Christ, you must be absolutely perfect from the second you are born to the second you die.
You can't have even a disobedient thought. It is a possible path to be in Christ, but only one has been able to do it so far.
Are you saying we should all be trying to do that, instead of by Faith?

Faither,
Do you think Jesus was just being ironic when he told us to do these things?
Jesus gave us the law to show us that we fall short of what God requires, which is perfection.

Unless you have the Spirit of Christ in you, Christ and His Word are not yours to obey.
That is exactly what you are and what you do.
I can prove what I say with scripture references.
Here is the scripture that you went against:
John 14:23 Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.
John 15:10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commands and remain in his love.
Jesus says those things before he was going to die...he told them these great important things.
These are the things just before your knowledge dies and gets side tracked from the truth.
If you can only work on this you might be given sight into it.
If you really believed that scripture you would not need Calvinism.
