The "QAnon" Fraud!

Oh yeah, I forgot that truth is determined by public opinion polls. How silly of me.

Well no, truth is not determined by public opinion polls. But it shows how little "real world" impact the QAnon movement is having. If Q had anything more to offer than empty promises, false claims, fake news, and clichés, more people would know about it by now.

If Q is so insignificant then why are you so obsessed with him/them?

I guess I just object to seeing people being taken for dupes.

It's like this: When I come across a deal like this, I investigate it for its veracity. If it checks out, I promote it. If it doesn't check out, I spread the word on that as well.

Oh come on. You said you think a mere 3% of the population has heard a lot about Q. Subtract the number of those 3% who still don't think Q is part of the Trump administration and you're obsessing over a very insignificant percentage of the population. You can't be that moral, righteous and holy. Give me a break. What is your REAL reason for being obsessed with Q?

If Q had checked out, I would be promoting it rather than debunking it. Q is a disinfo campaign aimed largely at evangelical Christians. That doesn't sit well with me.

If there were not already a QAnon thread or threads on this forum promoting it, I might not have bothered. But there is, so here we go.

Followers of QAnon are constantly moving goalposts in order to keep the conspiracy alive. Just in regard to the coronavirus, many Q believers at first claimed the virus wasn’t even real. But once the reality of the pandemic set in, the new theory became the virus was actually being used as a cover for “The Storm,” a series of mass-arrests against global elites that have been just around the corner now for several years. --

And that is your highly logical and well thought out criticism? In my experience it is those who stick to a single opinion and never change their minds about anything who do not think or examine the evidence. Anyone who is learning and growing changes some part of their opinion on pretty much a daily basis. And a change in opinion is reflected in a change in goalposts. It is normal human behavior for a thinking person to adjust their rationales and goalposts upon new information.

I studied Q for a few years and saw a great deal to find positive in the Q messaging. Q was constantly saying don't just believe me do your own thinking and investigating of everything I say. Is that how con artists work? No. They encourage the individual to place their sole trust in the con artist.

The media's claims of Q being a larp are based upon Q's ideas being in conflict with their own narrative which has been proven to be false again and again. Yet they keep to the same narrative year after year. And you think that is reliability and means they are trustworthy? We find that kind of behavior in those who are brainwashed.

I'm sure we can expect to see Hillary in the clink in Guantanamo any day now.

QAnon conspiracy theories about the coronavirus pandemic are a public health threat

https://www.salon.com/2020/04/12/qan...hreat_partner/

The most dangerous conspiracy theories about the coronavirus are now part of the QAnon phenomenon. For months now, actors in QAnon have downplayed the severity of the crisis, amplified medical disinformation and have been originators of hoaxes.

From February until the second week of March, QAnon followed the lead of Trump in downplaying the threat of the virus and calling it a hoax. They believed the virus was a deep state plot to damage the president's chance at re-election. The QAnon community said those warning about the pandemic threat were trying to detract from U.S. domestic politics, stop Trump rallies and remove all the economic gains they contended had occurred during the Trump presidency.

After the WHO upgraded COVID-19 to pandemic status and the U.S. announced it was closing its borders to most people from Europe for 30 days, QAnon changed the narrative again. Suddenly, QAnon thought the pandemic was something to celebrate because it was a cover for the Trump administration's secret plan to arrest deep state agents.

Evangelicals within the the QAnon movement viewed the pandemic as the promised coming of the Kingdom of God on Earth. David Hayes, who is better known as the Praying Medic and an influencer in the QAnon community with 300,000 YouTube subscribers, said in a March 14 livestream that there was no reason to be concerned about COVID-19. Hayes reassured his viewers that they may not be affected by the disease because this was "spiritual warfare" — only those who have not been chosen by God will be affected by the disease.

The person known as Q, who spawned the QAnon movement, didn't post anything online about COVID-19 until March 23. Up until then, all of the medical disinformation, hoaxes and downplaying of the pandemic had been sourced from QAnon influencers and community.

Florida pastor Rodney Howard-Browne, who has given credence to QAnon in the past and has preached that the coronavirus was planned by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, was arrested after holding Sunday services and disregarding federal, state and county orders to limit gatherings to less than 10 people. His conspiratorial beliefs led to his negligent actions, which put hundreds of people from his congregation at risk.

In another instance, right-wing media figures were spreading an "empty hospital" conspiracy, downplaying the pandemic and its death toll.

The FBI once called conspiracy theories spread by QAnon and others a "potential domestic terrorism threat." It's time to call the infodemic a public health threat.

Yeah, he was arrested for standing on his constitutional right of assembly. Funny how you leftists always forget about those rights. You think every bureaucratic regulation overrules constitutional rights. They do not. They are rules not law. And law always trumps rules. And since the constitution is the highest law of the land it overrules all other laws and all rules.

How does that overrule constitutional right of assembly or the prohibition against the abridging of free speech? That's exactly what the shutting down of churches is. It's the very first item on the Bill of Rights so the founding fathers thought it was extremely important.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Be my guest, as far as I'm concerned. But it has cost lives. This is not the only church in which people have died, from the pastor on down.

Trump became president on Jan. 20, 2016, and Jeffrey Epstein was not arrested until July 6, 2019. Do the math.

What did President Trump do about Epstein between 2016 and and 2019? If you guessed "Absolutely nothing," you guessed right. And Epstein was free to engage in his activities over the course of that entire time. You'd think Trump could have pulled some strings early on, but no, he didn't do anything.

"But wait!" you're thinking. "Q was posting about Epstein!" Well yes, Q did drop crumbs about Epstein. The first one that I can find came on November 11, 2017--A YEAR AND A HALF before he was rearrested. Why was there no action taken during that long length of time?

Neither Trump nor Q had anything to do with Epstein being rearrested in 2019. As I have stated elsewhere, Epstein was rearrested because a reporter for the Miami Herald named Julie K. Brown published reporting on the story. As her bio states, Ms. Brown:
.
Investigated criminal justice cases, including a series detailing how a former federal prosecutor, Alex Acosta, negotiated a secret plea deal for Jeffrey Epstein, a multimillionaire sex trafficker who molested hundreds of underage girls. The series led to Epstein's arrest, Acosta's resignation as U.S. labor secretary and three different investigations by the Department of Justice and a fourth by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
.
Source: https://www.visualcv.com/julie-kbrown/

So not only did Trump do nothing about Epstein for over 3 years AND have nothing to do with his rearrest, he even had Alexander Acosta working for him in his administration! When Ms. Brown's investigative reporting exposed Acosta, creating a national scandal, Trump defended Acosta! See here for those details: https://www.cnbc.com/2019/07/12/labo...tein-case.html

And not only did Trump defend Acosta, he also hired Jeffrey Epstein's personal friend and lawyer, Alan Dershowitz, to shill for him on Fox News and defend him in the impeachment trial! You do know who Alan Dershowitz is, right? Alan Dershowitz is a swamp lawyer who never met a rich murderer he didn't like.

Think about it! Trump is buddies with Epstein's buddies! How blind do you have to be not to see what is really going on here?

Which brings us back to Q. What's the deal with Q? What is Q's end game?

To me, the unavoidable conclusion is that Q is controlled opposition. Urban Dictionary defines controlled opposition as a protest movement that is actually being led by government agents. Nearly all governments in history have employed this technique to trick and subdue their adversaries. Notably Vladimir Lenin who said ''"The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves."

In my estimation, Q is another arm of the Mockingbird Media. In fact, Q is worse because Q's goal is to make you think that something is being done behind the scenes about the corruption in the country, when in reality nothing is being done about it! So you think you are "woke," when in reality you are still asleep and dreaming that something is being done about it when it isn't.

That whole "Storm" thing? Not going to happen. Tens of thousands of sealed indictments? That's just there to make you think something big is really in the works when it isn't. So business for the Epsteins of the world is allowed to continue to proceed as normal, and you are made to think that Trump is your hero in the process, even though precious little to nothing is really being done about it.

You seem to be moving closer to my view that Q and Trump are coordinating with each other and are on the same team. So if Q is controlled opposition then so is Trump. So, why didn't Trump simply pull a John McCain and run a lousy campaign, guaranteeing a Hillary Clinton victory?

Also, if Q is controlled opposition, why would the national liberal media do so many stories on Q trying to convince the public that Q is nothing more than a LARP? (Live Action Roll Player for the uninitiated)

Trump is certainly aware of Q, but they don't do much coordination. Q is an advertising campaign for Trump, but they are autonomous. Q is a phony organization that does not work for the government.

Also, if Q is controlled opposition, why would the national liberal media do so many stories on Q trying to convince the public that Q is nothing more than a LARP? (Live Action Roll Player for the uninitiated)

Because it gets clicks from Q supporters (and deburnkers).
