I am very confused on this issue.You are blurring the lines again.
Do you desire a culture where men and women are made equal?
Or do you prefer reality, where men and women are not equal?
I get it that you are saying that if secular rule wants men and women to be equal, then they should have equal defenses.
I agree, if secular rule is how you want to live life.
What I'm wondering is if that is the way you want your life to be (men and women equal)?
Because it appears to me that scripture plainly teaches that men and women have different roles, and that woman was created for man and out of man, and that the man is the head of the woman.
So, in your own personal life, which do you want it to be?
Do you want to fulfill the qualification of a biblical man and be the head, or a secular man where you are not the head?
Some women really do seem suited to powerful professions (I know women attorneys and surgeons) and these would suffer under and unequal system.
In other ways, the two do seem made for different roles.
Really difficult for me to say. I also have sisters and female cousins who are Professors, public speakers.
I just don't know......
