The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for sin.

Calvinists are half siblings to those who believe in faith in alone.

Calvinists teach it is wrong to believe and obey to be saved,

and those who teach faith alone say we are to believe but not obey to be saved.

Faith alone is the only way your filthy rags will be changed into the fruit of the Spirit.

Repent or perish, Luke 13:3.

By nature, a person has an unrepentant heart Rom. 2:5. First he must become Saved when God gives him a New Heart Ezek.36:26, and quickens him from death to Spiritual Life. Only then can they repent, just like the prodigal son, he was dead but became alive Luke 15:24.

That's what being Saved by Grace is all about.

Eph. 2:5
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)

Romans 5

18 Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

Just like this thread. The offer of life is to all. Many reject it.

Jesus saved you before you were born or did anything good or bad.

That scripture is about Esau and Jacob, and how God choose a prophet. That scripture is explaining how Esau the first born is symbolic of Israel and Jacob is symbolic of the rest of the world. We are not saved before we are saved that is not what that scripture is telling us.

Jesus only died one time so all sin past, present and future for all people has been atoned for.

That is right. Jesus is the Sacrificial Lamb of God once and for all. That means you do not have to sacrifice a lamb day after day, year after year, to be forgiven. It means all you have to do is ask for forgiveness.

This is why he is called the savior of the world.

Jesus is the Savior of the whole world. That is more proof why all must submit to him in obedience.

Those who don't come to him in obedience are still in a state of condemnation.

Those who continue to to be wicked have for their father the devil.

It is never ever wrong in any way to obey God. God does not tell us our righteous acts are as filthy rags when we do what He says.
God was speaking to the Jews WHO WOULD NOT STOP SINNING. For instance, in the old law, the Jews would sin, then they had to give a sin offering as a righteous act, they had to give sin offerings just to worship God. God did not like it that they would sin then give a sin offering and not really be sorry for their sins.

Our righteous act of FAITH in Jesus is a filthy rag if we do not OBEY HIM.

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 KJV -

2 Corinthians 5:19 KJV -

2 Corinthians 5:20-21 KJV -

Those scriptures can only apply to Christ's Seed, those chosen in union with Him before the foundation of the world to have remission / forgiveness of sins.

Paul writing to the Faithful Saints said this:

Eph. 1:2-7
2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace

God's Chosen Saints In Union with Christ were given Grace in Him before the world began:

2 Tim. 1:9
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began

The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for sin.

Did Jesus say that he died for our sins or did someone else? I ask because the traditional interpretation relies heavily on a literal translation and I can't recall anywhere where Jesus actually claimed that he died for our sins. Please prove me wrong.

No, that is not about all humans; not all humans have an unrepentant heart.

God does not cause some to have an unrepentant heart over others.

first he must become Saved when God gives him a New Heart Ezek.36:26,

God does not save first then wait for obedience.

Jesus is the Way.

Jesus tells us how to be saved.

After we believe and obey Jesus, then we are saved.

Being dead in sins is about the Gentiles. The Gentiles were dead in their sins because they did not want to submit to the law of circumcision. The law of circumcision is symbolic of the ceremonial/purification works the Jews USED TO HAVE TO DO just to make THEMSELVES clean so that they could go to the temple to worship God.

That scripture you quote is about how Jesus saves obedient Gentiles even though they were not circumcised:

Colossians 2:13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,

Jesus saved the enemy Gentiles and did NOT make them get circumcised before they could be saved.

By nature, all men have unrepentant hearts.

But to a remnant of humanity, His Election of Grace Eph. 1:4; 2 Tim. 1:9; Rom. 11:5, God quickens them, and gives them a New Heart!

The first scripture you referenced is about the PLAN of salvation being made before the creation of the world.

The next scripture you quoted is about about the plan of salvation being made before the creation of the world.

The last scripture you quoted is about being chosen by grace and not the ceremonial/purification works those wanting to be saved used to have to do. Those who did the ceremonial/purification works were called the chosen because they did the purification works, they didn't even have to have faith, because the old law was not based on faith.

You think you're part of a remnant ? :rotfl:

A person shall assuredly know they are Child of God, because at some point in their lifetime, He gives them the Spirit of Promise Gal. 3:13-14.

All for whom Christ died, they shall receive the Adoption of Sons
by God sending the Spirit of His Son into their hearts Gal. 4:4-7.

Rom. 8:14-16
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear;
but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

No one is quickened that does not hear and believe the Gospel, Romans 10:17 also Galatians 3:2.

2 Corinthians 3:16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

A person can only turn to the Lord if they believe the Gospel Acts 11:21.

But those who can't believe the Gospel it's because it is hid from them 1 Cor. 4:3-4.
