Yes, since no one is without sin, except Him. We need His Blood or we have no part in Him.
John 6:53
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
John didn't mis-quote Jesus. He is The One Who said that you have to eat His Flesh and drink His Blood. It doesn't make one a vampire, but rather gives one eternal life. Without His Blood your sins cannot be forgiven. What is more real than acknowledging that only Jesus' Blood can wash one's sins away? What's more real than taking The True Manna?
<-------Forgiveness was already a part of the Gospel before religion tried to kill Jesus:
44 Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45 You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. 46 You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. 47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.”
48 Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”
49 The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”
50 Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
John 6:58
This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. <----the bread of life is the living word, not sacrifice and the darkness of death
We show forth His sacrifice in remembrance as we partake of the elements. We honor His Words by doing so. Taking offence at His Blood and His Body shows that we have no part in Him, because we do not discern that He died in our place, taking our death, the payment for our sin so that we might have His Life. The transformed life is one of repentance, not just an act but true constant repentance and growth.
