When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all. " (1 Corinthians 15:22-28)

At the second coming, Jesus hands over the kingdom to God which he has ruled since the resurrection.

If they are the same, God would have called them the same.
There is a reason Matthew used Kingdom of Heaven. Think about why the Holy Ghost would inspire the writer to use a different word.

Mat 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mar 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

The one - in Earth - will once more be the subset of the other - Heaven.

Acts 1:3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

He has gone to Heaven to one day return from Heaven to His rule in the Earth.

The one is the subset of the other just as a city is a subset of a state; a state is a subset of a country, a country is a subset of the Earth, the Earth is a subset of the Planets and so on...

John 1:49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

John 1:51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

Ascending and descending back and forth from the one to the other and back again and so on...

Heb 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Tribulation passage. They had just seen Him in His glory accompanied by two who had also had such power in their day - Moses and Elijah.

This is why He ties that to "the gates of hell" not being able to succeed against them. A reference to when the bototmless pit is opened to unleash its hell against all on Earth including the believing remnant of Israel, in Rev. 12.

Correct, the kingdom of heaven in Matthew is the same as the kingdom of God in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, 1 Corinthians, Galatians, Colossians, and 2 Thessalonians.

The phrase "kingdom of heaven" is only found in Matthew, and the synoptic Gospels use "kingdom of God" in the parallel verses.

The author of Matthew wrote in both Hebrew and in Greek, according to Papias of Hierapolis, and this may be part of the reason for the difference in wording.

7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Not me and not you, because this blessing is through Israel.
