Praise Jesus - that you have nothing really more to say. you're wrong except the resurrection paragraph - wrong
Resurrection--in its earliest Christian formulation by the Apostle Paul--says nothing about a walking, talking corpse.
And if resurrection is the belief that Christ's Power and Presence was still available to his early followers and still available to us today, then my belief is squarely in the mainstream.
If a brother like yourself does not believe that the resurrection happened, then you are not a Christian.
I'll bet anything that you yourself do not believe in the concept of resurrection in your modern little world. You probably only think that it does not happen, but only happened once in history.
And you are grasping onto that--as a belief only. You probably feel that to be a Christian all you have to do is give your assent to resurrection and other ancient theological frameworks like "Born of a Virgin," "Messiah" and "Son of God" and that is all you need to do.
You folks say to "believe, believe, believe" in low, sonorous tones and yet not suffer the slightest urge to change your own immoral behavior.
