Predestination is an imposition. You had no choice. When something is imposed upon you it is an imposition.
If it is an imposition it cannot be a free gift from God.
So, once again your doctrine is in conflict with the truth.
Nevertheless, call it what you will.
But any mental conflict you may have with the Truth of scripture in this matter of Predestination,
is strictly the result of your mind being blinded to the Truth of God's Word, such as Paul
spoke of here in 2 Cor. 4:3-4:
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: v.4 In whom the god of this world
hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,
who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
According to the scriptures, you can know this for certain:
Salvation was never an offer to all of humanity,
but was Given by God exclusively to all
the Election of Grace, only a segment, whom He had
Chosen in Union with Christ Eph. 1:4 and
Predestinated to be Adopted Children according to the good pleasure of His Will Eph. 1:5
to have redemption through Christ's Blood, forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His Grace Eph. 1:7.
That's the Gospel, the Good News, to all God's Elect Children whom He Predestinated to Eternal Life:
Rom. 8:28-30
And we know that all things work together for good
to them that love God,
to them who are the called
according to his purpose. v.29 For whom he did foreknow,
he also did predestinate to be conformed
to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. v.30 Moreover
whom he did predestinate,
them he also called: and
whom he called,
them he also justified:
and
whom he justified, them he also glorified.
The same Elected Children are referred to in:
2 Tim. 1:9
Who hath
saved us, and called us with an holy calling,
not according to our works,
but according to his own purpose and grace, which was
given us in Christ Jesus before the world began
God's Grace and Mercy are exclusively for His Elect Children; His Vessels of Mercy Rom. 9:23!
The Election of Grace Rom. 11:5 come into realization of their Salvation by the Gift of God's Grace:
Rom. 5:15
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead,
much more the grace of God,
and the gift by grace,
which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto
many.
Salvation by Grace is only possible by Election of Grace which occurred before the World began
Eph. 1:3-5; 2 Tim. 1:9!
