The coronavirus scam

Must we go over this yet again? All right, people, what is wrong with the implied argument here?

"I'll take "Confounding Variables" for $1,000 Alex"

There are, of course, any number of other variables at play here. But you guys earn your living by screening out important data that, surprise, surprise, undermines the position that they advocate for.
Don't fall into the all-too-common modern trap of reading into data what amounts to unsubstantiated personal views, instead of correctly seeing the bigger and more accurate picture.

Nonsense! A high school student - and a not particularly bright one at that - would see the flaw in your reasoning. There are, of course, all sorts of factors that determine infection rates, not just masks.

But, since the evidence is against you guys, you are forced to resort to such trickery as ignoring the role that factors other than masks play in the transmission of Covid.
Masks do not stop the passage of most covid particles. Claiming they do is unscientific and wrong.

Please read my post carefully - my question was about the ditzy blond in that first video who claimed there was a ward full of fully vaccinated Covid patients in a hospital somewhere in Iowa.

Now, I wonder why, despite repeated requests, no one has been able to name her or state her qualifications.

Now about your question about the second young lady. What exactly, is the claim that she is making? What death rate was 99% and how does it relate to the issues we are discussing?
What the deniers should be trying to provide is evidence this woman was wrong. Simply saying she was wrong or claiming she is unknown does not do the trick.

Are you asking to be handed your hat?

The Gateway Pundit (TGP) is an American far-right[2] fake news website.[1] The website is known for publishing falsehoods, hoaxes, and conspiracy theories.

You talk about "Thy will be done". How about posting false and misleading information? How does that fit in with God's will, exactly?
Why reject the news feeds you don't like and accept the feeds you do like without bothering to provide persuasive arguments for rejecting or accepting controversial claims on the one side or the other?

Biden's mask mandate is racist

If you don't get on board the mindless group-think democrat dung wagon then the cultist mob will accuse you of being racist. They should instead accuse themselves of being stupid, which is the correct assessment.

Oh vey, it is exhausting keeping up with the misleading posts.

For those who actually pay attention, take note that 6 of the 7 cases detected as of last Wednesday are, yes, asymptomatic. While there is growing evidence that the vaccine does blunt transmission, what really matters is serious, symptomatic illness.

So the 7 or 8 Yankee cases in no wise undermines what we are being told by the experts - the vaccines greatly diminish the risk of severe disease (and death, of course).
The numbers of covid infections were already falling before the vaccines showed up. Leave it to the democrats to attribute the falling numbers to the wonder vaccine drugs or to the assumed almighty wisdom and direction of decrepit democrats.

Biased peer review is no match for real-life experiences and evidence which contradicts peer-reviewed claims.
Real life experiences? Some guy in his basement blowing smoke rings who has been roundly dismissed by professionals? Some flaky blond with attitude who conjures up a full ward of covid patients who have all been vaccinated? And you guys won’t even name her? If she is part of this domain of real life experience, she surely has a name. If there is such a hospital in Iowa, what is its name?

No thanks, I will take serious disciplined academic rigour and Harvard medical school any day of the week.

Saying"nuh-uh" does not qualify as "debunked."
Of course it doesn't, that's why the theories have been comprehensively debunked as shown throughout. On the other hand you're yet to even supply 'evidence' for your theory that Fauci co-invented Covid-19 so there's nothing to even debunk. It's just a bonkers theory of yours that can be dismissed accordingly.

You take the selective advice of professionals committed to furthering the leftist narratives only? Why reject the science offered by those who contradict the leftist narratives?

Sure. You claim that but you do not prove you are right. Carry on.

Sure I have, this post that debunks Dr Ted Noel's hypothesis that masks don't work for a start and that I invited you to dismantle earlier if you could.

Ironically, the only thing Dr Noel succeeded in was confirming how masks actually do work, not by stopping aerosols or smaller particles from getting through them but by how they reduce the amount of particles being expelled at the front and the speed and distance at which they travel. Masks were not designed to stop smaller particles altogether otherwise you wouldn't be able to breathe while wearing them.

So, do explain how the experts who took this apart in varying details are wrong. The floor is yours.

How has "serious disciplined academic rigour" got anything to do with a "leftist narrative"?

Hint: It hasn't.

From factcheck. I'll link to the article which you can read at your leisure. In the meantime I'll highlight certain passages in bold and comment on them.

Dr John O’Horo, associate professor of medicine and an infectious disease specialist at Mayo Clinic, said the conclusions the man in the video draws are “very, very questionable,” and “what’s being shown there isn’t really representative of the way that masks offer protection for the wearer or for those around the wearer.”
So, the alternative witness claims the evidence presented in the Dr.'s mask video is "very questionable." At least the alternative witness did not say the conclusions were "absolutely false and I will show why."

In a phone interview, O’Horo explained: “The idea that just seeing some particulates going through a mask negates their effectiveness is just a misunderstanding of how masks work. The masks do allow air and small particles to pass through. That’s how we can still breathe with them on, but what they do is they take a lot of the energy out so it doesn’t travel as far.”
The alternative witness claims that particles do go through masks, but that masks normally keep particles from traveling too far, whatever that means.
Now that makes sense doesn't it? Nobody's claiming that masks stop air and smaller particles altogether, they don't. After the first lockdown was eased over here in the UK then most places were allowed to reopen but with safeguards. One of those was no raucous get togethers, no karaokes or singing in pubs. The reason? The amount of particles released when singing/shouting is far more than when people talk normally. Again, makes sense doesn't it? Sneezing also although obviously there's nothing anyone can do to stop that.
Shutdowns rob people of freedom, rights, income, and choices in their own decision-making. Shutdowns are thought to prevent the spread of covid but have never been scientifically proven beyond doubt to stop the spread of covid. As shutdowns became more widespread, so did the deaths from covid. That does not give strong support to assumptions that shutdowns of entire economies are to be desired over other experimental methods.
Christopher Sulmonte, project administrator at the Johns Hopkins Biocontainment Unit, made a similar point.

“You’ll notice that those vapors… are being hindered -- when he breathes out, they’re not going out as far, but also they’re going backwards, which is exactly conceptually what we’re trying to do with the masks,” he said by telephone.
So, another alternate witness says masks are not meant to prevent covid from escaping from the mouth to others but meant to force those covid particles back inside the wearer's own lungs. How comforting, even though we see particles escaping from the masks which do not return to the wearer, undermining what the alternate witness seems to be trying to say.
Sulmonte criticized the video for its attempt “to create an equivalency between how SARS-CoV-2 is spread through respiratory droplets to the movement of gaseous particles.”

Respiratory droplets are much larger, and that is the main way Covid-19 is spread, he said, adding that while “there is still some concern with aerosol spread of the virus,” masks still help, as demonstrated by the smoke moving sideways and backwards in the video, rather than forward.
Another alternate witness claims covid particles are droplets, not fine particles in aerosol mists, but the alternate witness provides no research documentation of his claims.

Then supply it, otherwise this is just another assertion of yours with absolutely nothing to support it. The onus isn't on me, the burden of proof is on you. Else, disprove that a unicorn is on my kitchen roof.
If I gave the impression that dupes who refuse to believe facts and evidence are not convinced their misunderstandings are right and the truth is wrong, then I apologize. I do not believe dupes hooked on error know they are wrong.

All right, how is this for starters (repeat of what has already been presented):

The fact that he can blow vapor through a mask is not evidence that masks don’t protect against passing the coronavirus. After all, people breathe in and out with masks on.

"By that illogic, the fact that air can pass through a mask could be cited as ‘evidence’ as well," said Dr. Amesh Adalja, senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security.

Cindy Prins, a clinical associate professor of epidemiology at the University of Florida, called the video "completely misleading."

"Fabric and surgical/procedure masks are meant to help protect against larger droplet particles that may contain COVID-19," she said. "You have to be able to breathe through a mask, and he is just blowing out water vapor, so that is expected to be able to go through a mask."
I fail to see any evidence from those criticizing the video that they can offer facts and logic to effectively convince anyone that the video is wrong. Criticizing the video is not the same thing as discrediting or debunking the video.
