Conservatives want the government to control people, but not business and industry . Liberals want the government to control business and industry , but not people . I prefer the latter .

What is your preference based on?

Jacob, my preference is based on common sense . Business and industry MUST be controlled by the government in order to prevent greedy rich industrialists from harming the public and nature . But people must be free to do whatever they want to as long as they do not harm any one else , interfere with the private lives of others and violate their rights .
