Irrational xenophobic anti-immigrant fear mongering. Once again, you are being controlled by fear and it is making you look completely bonkers.
Anti-immigrant! :rotfl: and speaking of overactive imaginations...:rotfl:

Who are these "Christians" he speaks of?
Yeah, man has an obvious problem, doesn't he?
There are no small number of TOLers that feel the same lust for theocracy.I'd say that when political and religious power are identical it invites corruption and abuse. Part of Islam's problem is that it tends to insist on the linkage.

I think lusting after power and control over other people is universal and is a sickness that infects Islam and Christianity, equally. Not as much the other big religions, though.
You have to distinguish between people and ideology. Christianity doesn't call for it. Christ was fairly clear as to what he expected of us and it wasn't raising up a new Holy Empire. There are no small number of TOLers that feel the same lust for theocracy.
I'd say you're right about people in general, or rather some people in any general group, but not about the distinction between religions.I think lusting after power and control over other people is universal and is a sickness that infects Islam and Christianity, equally.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
Theres that pesky absolute claim of authority...
The problem always comes down to people thinking that they've been given the authority to assume God's place.
Do you have a problem with Catholic popes - and priests, for that matter - purporting to be essentially Christ on earth, as far as their followers are concerned?
We MADs do not.
We simply quote Him

Jesus himself said that when anyone receives his representative, that is equal to receiving Jesus himself. And Paul commended the Galatians for welcoming him "as if I were Christ Jesus himself."

No "Christian nations", no empire of the elect. Not for this world, until He decides to do it Himself.
Also has a good observation about the idiotic and suicidally dangerous Bill O...Can Islam be made to live with the norms of free societies in which it now nests? Can Islam learn - or be forced - to suck it up the way Mormons, Catholics, Jews and everyone else do? If not, free societies will no longer be free. Pam Geller understands that, and has come up with her response. By contrast, Ed Miliband, Irwin Cotler, Francine Prose, Garry Trudeau and the trendy hipster social-media But boys who just canceled Mr Fawstin's Facebook account are surrendering our civilization. They may be more sophisticated, more urbane, more amusing dinner-party guests ...but in the end they are trading our liberties.
So much for Christian missionaries going throughout the wold and sharing God's Word ey barbarian?
