Its just an impression, but it seems we have lost a large number of Christian posters,
and have retained for no explicable reason the same number of atheist trolls
and mockers that we always had.
We might as well call this an Atheist Forum with peculiar rules
for Christian guests.
I hope I'm exaggerating.
One thing I have noticed is that both believers and atheists make a fundamental mistake. I think this error started from the Enlightenment with the rise of scientific methodology, rational thought and a dependence on what was deemed to be "factually correct."
Traditional Christians tend to take the sacred and profound mythic metaphors of Christianity literally and force their minds to make the verses as real facts--even when they contradict each others.
Most atheists take the same factual approach to the same Bible.
The difference is that they pronounce the facts nonsense and reject them out of hand.

Nazaroo,
if you can ever get into a face-to-face meeting with an atheist, ask them to actually try to describe this God that they don't believe in. I have gotten some interesting answers that have opened the door for some real dialogue and understanding between myself and the other person.
