Rep. Andy Biggs, former Freedom Caucus chair, is officially running for speaker of the House. “Kevin McCarthy was created by, elevated by, and maintained by the establishment,” he tweeted. Never mind that he fell flat on his face the first time he tried this in last month’s straw vote at the party conference. Biggs went head-to-head against McCarthy and lost 188-31.

Biggs’ announcement might mean they don’t really have a mystery date to bring to Jan. 3 like they’ve been teasing. Or maybe they do. Some Republicans say he’s sacrificing himself as the primary target of McCarthy’s team so that someone else can emerge unscathed. Sure. It’s pretty hard to imagine anyone not in the House looking at this crew and saying, “Oh, yeah, I want to be in charge of that.

Those who signed the sex pervert bill in ignorance are stupid. Those who signed the sex pervert bill knowing what the bill was meant to do to Christians and good marriages are wicked.

...what the bill was meant to do to Christians and good marriages are wicked.
 You take things too personally...Marriage within our culture was already degraded by the 1980's with the advent of the no-fault divorce a decade or so earlier. This is merely an expected outcome. Marriage in American culture is about as significant as "BFF's" and it's been that way for quite some time.
This and anything else the state does with their little scraps of paper are insignificant to an actual Christian Marriage.

Christians have a duty to advocate against moral depravity, decay, and degeneracy. Protecting and promoting sexual depravity by law is degenerate.

If you can't even defeat the RINOs who control the Republican Party, you certainly cannot defeat the Democrats.

It's perfectly Christian as well as legal to have a prenuptial (or a postnuptial) agreement (which is an amendment to the government's boilerplate marriage contract), which imposes material checks and balances against adultery. Prenup's aren't just to protect assets in the event of divorce, but to provide penalties for adultery and other breaches of the marriage contract (contra "no-fault").

Of course nobody needs a prenup to have a good Christian marriage.

Sad but basically true.

Prenuptial agreements can be useless depending on the judge. Women have successfully argued that because her fiance refused to marry her unless she signed the prenup, she therefore signed "under duress." The judge then disregards that contract.

We could all use a good lawyer. Or even just an adequate one.

Christians cannot defeat any enemy they encounter without Jesus. We will continue to pray that the Lord will deliver us from evil and that our leaders will be influenced for good and not evil.
