No, it's just a matter of you liberals trying to pervert the English language again. The same way you call murdering a child "choice", you are calling a protest an "insurrection". There's nothing "non-sequitur" about it. Grassley claimed on January 5, 2021, that he would take Pence's place on J6. Why would he say such a thing? There can be only one answer: Grassley knew what was going to go down on J6.

That has nothing to do with the silly idea that "Trump incited an insurrection".
Plans for the insurrection were falling into place weeks before J6. Knowledge of what was going to take place obviously goes high up the chain, as is evidenced by Chuck Grassley's claim on J5 that Pence would not be presiding over the vote certification on J6. I will concede that this fact alone is not proof of Trump's involvement, but common sense strongly indicates it.

He has not been indicted, not been arrested, and has not been jailed. The leftist plant Ali Alexander claimed there was an insurrection and that he organized it. He testified before Congress and before a grand jury, but he was never charged with a crime. The man has a criminal record and appears to have sold his soul to the democrat party to concoct the lie about an insurrection and provide hours of lying testimony for democrats to use to jail innocent people and ruthlessly put down all efforts to expose their widespread 2020 voter fraud.
It was certainly a more peaceful demonstration than the so-called peaceful democrat riots of 2020.

“Mostly peaceful” protests and riots that have been going on over the past few months have now caused $1-2 billion worth of damage.
The media’s continued silence on the mayhem and tacit approval of it since it first began has been absolutely disgraceful.
From the beginning, it was obvious that these riots were dangerously common at the nationwide protests in response to the death of George Floyd, the Minneapolis man who died after a police officer knelt on his neck for roughly nine minutes.
In terms of total paid insurance claims, the arson, vandalism and looting of the riots cost as much as $2 billion.
The worst violence the Capitol has seen in the last 50 years was when leftist anarchist terrorist Bill Ayers and his gang bombed the Capitol in 1971.

Leftists and right-wingers committed destructive acts in the Capitol on Jan 6 but blindly believing democrat lies that leftists had nothing to do with the planning and execution of the violence is extremely unwise.
The videos show leftists and right-wingers doing things that have been misconstrued as attempts to overthrow the US government, which is a stupid outrageous lie.
We have eyewitness testimony from some who claimed they planned the insurrection before Jan 6. The problem with the testimony of some of those who testified, like Ali Alexander, is that they lied through their dirty leftist Trump-hating teeth.
Of course it was planned. It was planned in Charlottesville too. These feds have no shame. Anybody with half a brain can spot the feds planted in the crowds. Remember that time they showed up to some event, I can't remember what it was, they were pretending to be a right-wing group and they were all wearing khaki pants and masks? They were all feds. LOL. They were being mocked as feds and their covers were pulled. It was pathetic
Much like the topic of Democrats grooming children, this is another topic that can never be allowed to fade away. The Democrats monumental and colossal abuse of power and malfeasance of office setting up these fake Nazi show trials and rounding up and arresting American citizens just for exercising their free speech or for having a particular political point of view, is one of the high crimes, or highest crimes, ever committed in the United States. Every Democrat who had anything to do with these January 6th trials should be arrested and put in prison
