When Christ is presented as the savior of the world it is reference to the cross only! Why is that so hard to understand? None of us were even alive 2000 years ago.

Christ redeemed the world and forgave all sin on the cross. It does not become mine personally until I hear the good news and believe the good news. Believers have to believe or they don't receive what Christ accomplished.
Demons believe and they tremble. James 2:19

2 Cor 5:18-20
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Now exactly to whom does the Holy Spirit through Paul here preaching the word of reconciliation, bid "be ye reconciled to God" ?
Well, it most definitely isn't to the unreconciled to God, for its plainly said previously that those to whom he was writing had already been reconciled to God, Vs 18
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
And Vs 19 says
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
So those spoken to in Vs 20 are those who already have been reconciled to God by Christ's death, as also says Rom 5:10
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
So, the Truth being told, the "be ye reconciled to God" imperative in Vs 20 is Gods call by the word of reconciliation, the Gospel of Peace, unto the already reconciled, to now apprehend their reconciliation to God by Faith, for Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, the Truth of God. Those who have been unconditionally reconciled to God by Christ's death, don't know it until God given Faith from the New Birth causes them to realize it or apprehend it.

Amen, and this imperative to "be ye reconciled to God" is directed exclusively to the Church of God, them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be Saints 1 Cor. 1:2: The Elect of God, chosen in Christ Jesus before the foundation of the world to have forgivenss of sins Eph. 1:4-7, and the same ones God was in Christ reconciling to Himself, by which they receive this reconciliation passively, exactly as they receive New Birth passively. They are reconciled to God and stand Justified by the Blood of Christ Rom. 4:25; 5:9 who satisfied God's Law and Justice in their behalf. So now they are commanded to apprehend this great Truth in their Spiritually New Mind / Heart..

Yes, also the imperative " Be ye reconciled" is in passive voice, to show that God's Power is effecting the command.Its not a choice for them to make, no more than it was a choice for light to shine on when God said " let there be light", so He shines the Gospel light into their hearts 2 Cor 4:6

People Christ died for, were reconciled to God by Christ death, while they were enemies, unbelievers. The other way to think about this is that the Holy Spirit's ministry of separation guarantees the safety of the elect until he or she hears the gospel. The elect person has immortality until God's purpose for them is complete.

Rom 5:10 teaches limited atonement and here's why. Rom 5:10

Those Christ died for are here promised that they shall be saved His [Christ's] Life.
Now are all men without exception going to be saved by His Life ? No, some will be lost. Remember Jesus will say to some Matt 7:23
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
These Jesus is speaking to are lost people.
So they cannot be of those who shall be saved by His Life in Rom 5:10

The reason why sinners Christ died for are reconciled to God while they are enemies Rom 5:10 is because of the efficacy of His Death/Blood before God. Now in themselves by nature they are alienated by wicked works, However the Value of Christ Death prevails over that with God. Now the reason why religionists don't receive the love of the Truth, it's because they don't have a regard for the efficacy of Christ death/Blood as God does, which is very disrespectful and dishonoring to God and Christ.

The Elect those Christ lived and died for, are reconciled to God, put into a right relationship with Him, saved from their sins, the penalty of sin,while they are enemies, unbelievers, even while hating God Rom 5:10. Now how can this be ? How can wretched, rebellious sinners possibly in a right favorable relationship with God, as if they have never sinned ? Its because of the death of Christ for them, and its because they are in Christ their Head.
