Does anybody here believe they have to obey EVERYTHING that Jesus says?Does anyone here believe they have to obey ANYTHING that Jesus says?
There is at least one.
We have to obey everything Jesus says.
Does anybody here believe they have to obey EVERYTHING that Jesus says?Does anyone here believe they have to obey ANYTHING that Jesus says?
We have to obey everything Jesus says.
All in one post. Amazing.
For the record;
Acts 16
30 And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
God the Father has forgiven all your trespasses. Even as an enemy. He asks that you believe him, that you put your trust in him. Try it sometime. Put all your eggs in his basket.
Romans 5
6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
Colossians 2
13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
Does it not bother you that you are always wrong? Shouldn't there be internal warnings that you need to rethink things?
God does not forgive enemies who have not come to him through Jesus.
I can prove that to you so easily.
Jesus does not tell everyone to sell all they have. He told that to the rich man who loved his money more than he loved God.
We have to obey everything Jesus says.
Romans 2:5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” 7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. 9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; 10 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 11 For God does not show favoritism.Which is why you did.

Paul is explaining that when Jesus died for the sins of the world, he died for the UNGODLY Gentiles.
You said the Jews had to repent of not believing Jesus. Jesus says to repent of all sins.

Paul is explaining that when Jesus died for the sins of the world, he died for the UNGODLY Gentiles. The Gentiles were the enemies of God. They were without God in the world, and in the UN Circumcision of their flesh.
Obey what?
Be specific.
You won't be. That's the proof that you CAN'T say the same thing about musterion.
We have to obey everything Jesus says.
All in one breath, amazing. So he didn't die for the world. I thought you were going to prove that he does not forgive his enemies. Why didn't you? You posted Paul proving they need a savior.
Everyone needs Jesus to save them, but they have to come to him and have their sins washed away.
Not that passage, though. That passage is just saying that the worldwide judgement will be fair, and based on what they knew was right, even though they did not have the law. Passages about saving them all are in Rom 3, or Eph 2. But it's never "their" turn to hear the Gospel. He still wants those in Israel to believe, although he got pretty tired of them.
Everyone needs Jesus to save them, but they have to come to him and have their sins washed away.
GT rejects this, and therefore does not receive his life. GT is still dead and if you ask me, will never move from death to life. Dying twice is going to suck. I can't believe people choose it. They must hate God with all their heart, mind and soul. Because nobody can be that stupid.
Jesus said this AFTER he died, and ascended to heaven...he says to repent of sins they have done.
Revelation 9:20The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the works of their hands. They did not stop worshiping demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk. 21Furthermore, they did notrepent of their murder, sorcery, sexual immorality, and theft.
Revelation 16:11 and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had d
How does one do that?
Jesus himself saved me.
They seek Jesus' teachings, they find God by obeying Jesus' teachings.
That is word for word what Meshak used to say. Interesting.
But anyway...which teachings of His must they seek and obey to find God? Some? Most? All? Where in the Bible can we find what we need?
This is not a trick question.
