An atheist is someone who is certain there is no God. Sagan did not believe in the Judeo-Christian God because the evidence for his existence was not good enough for him, but he did not flat out deny that he existed.
Once again you ignore the clear point.
Sagan recognized an irreconcilable incompatibilities between Christ's teachings to Israel and Pauline doctrine for the Body of Christ. Though he was a cosmos-worshiping pagan Sagan was correct on this point, showing his understanding of God's Word was on an even higher level than yours.
