Jesus, Peter, and Paul taught the gospel from the scriptures.
They all three taught of those that were not a people (ie. Gentiles) being counted as people of the Lord.
PETER
PAUL
JESUS
Prophesied in scripture by Isaiah:
Isaiah 65:1 KJV
(1) I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.
And Peter ends this letter of his with the following, showing that both Peter & Paul wrote to the same people concerning salvation by grace.
2 Peter 3:14-18 KJV
(14) Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
(15) And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
(16) As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
(17) Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
(18) But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

PETER
1 Peter 2:10 KJV
(10) Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
PAUL
Romans 9:24-25 KJV
(24) Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
(25) As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
Romans 10:19-20 KJV
(19) But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.
(20) But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
JESUS
Luke 4:25-27 KJV
(25) But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;
(26) But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.
(27) And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.
